We have a kitty kleptomaniac in the house, with a peculiar attraction to shiny metal things. The other half is missing a half dozen earrings and two expensive rings - a couple of which were found buried in the litter box like he was hiding them for later. Once we figured out what the heck was going on (ick) we have to hide the shiny metal things - including Kanger coils, ProTank bases, stainless drip tips, atty top caps and whatnot. I found him yesterday playing around with the base for an MT3 tank under the dining room table - that one disappeared over two weeks ago. How he fished that thing out of the glass it was sitting in with coils to be cleaned...?

Since it can be jewelry or "other" it's not an attraction to the liquids or anything. (He actually sniffs the vape gear and "cringes" back.) It just has to be a shiny.

Evil cat.

Hmm, just a week ago my cat grabbed the end of a roll of kanthal, jumped off the couch and ran, unrolling the whole spool.

When I build, she climbs all over me, biting my face and hands, and grabs all my tools.

The parrot in my avatar had clipped wings for 28 years in his previous home. He doesn't know how to fly and is like an uncontrolled bowling ball going through my house. Twice now he has tried to fly to me, muffed the landing and crashed into all my mods on the end table.

Please note that the OP said pets and everything posted is about cats :D

So I have advice to all of your pooch lovers, just kiss them. Talk to them in kitty language before giving them kisses helps more then just blowing the odd kiss because you know how much they hate that! If you blow a fake kiss they just sit on the keyboard and look at you in the the face until you say. Things like

Moo chig kitty kitty ( kiss )

my poo poo who is going to eat your paw ( kiss )

You know how much they love that :p

My only cat problem was he jumped up on the counter and moved my paper towel while I was mixing. Turned over a bottle of Watkins Puremint on my nightgown. I let out a few choice words and all the 3 dogs came running in to see. After getting a whiff of me. . . well, let's just say dogs can sneeze for a pretty long time and I went to bed smelling like a lifesaver. But cats are wonderful as far as I am concerned. I have 3.

Come on tell the truth, all of it not just some :D

While the dogs might have cared to your issue the cat did not give a @#$#@$ :D

My cat is interested in anything on my desk that I tell her "NO" about. Whether that be vape gear (coil housings particularly) pencils (have found teeth marks) keys, ant-acids...She's also seems very interested in scientific study, such as how long it takes for my legs to fall asleep from her sitting on my lap as well as measuring quad strength? I haven't figured out her exact method as of yet. I will get back to everyone as soon as I have confirmed.
