Do critters that have adopted us count as pets? If so, I've got a doozy. Every evening, when I go to make the sugar glider's dinner, I dump whatever fruit, veggies, or goodies that are left in their dish outside. There are lots of critters here that enjoy the freebies. Usually that consists of raccoons or skunks or possums. But then a wild turkey discovered the bonanza and adopted the house. He polices the front deck and hangs out there for hours during the day sometimes. When I go to the restroom, I am sometimes surprised by "Tom" looking in the window at me. That would make him a Peeping Tom - right? He is up that high because he perches on a container that holds my garbage cans so that the coons can't get in them.
Here are a couple of shots of him. The first is him lounging on the railing along the walkway to my front door. The second is him peering
through the window. How'd you like THAT looking in atcha? It's a face only a mother could love. Or me.
