I understand what everyone is saying about giving up the real cigs being the cause ! but i could not continue vaping i was so ill .. i would of thought 2 months vaping would of given me enough time to get used to e cigs .. my symptoms were getting drasticly worse by the day to the point i couldnt eat or sleep .. so thankyou everyone but im not convinced thats the problem .. im going to try VG and stay away from PG

Contact Annette at Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes. She makes some awesome 100% VG juice but ask her if her flavorings contain PG. I'm not sure if they do or not. If they do, contact Bruce at Welcome to Clouds Of Vapor. He's highly allergic to PG. His juice is PG free and pretty tasty.

Tacoma Wa,
I had al those symptoms and others when I quit cigarettes.
I thought it was due to the ecigs. Then I read a quitting smoking website and it discussed all the symptoms I had and said they came from quitting.
They lasted about a month. Then I thought I had a pg allergy because I kept feeling itchy. Then I switched from cola to cool aid and found out it was due to being dehydrated being I vape a lot.

thanks .. but my symptoms crept up slowly building up to been really unwell .. and i have been vaping 3 MONTHS which i would of thought if it was due to quitting real cigs it would be getting more tolerable not worse ..
i quit smoking a few years ago using champix and i didnt have any symptoms at all ! its either PG or sweetener or too high nicotine level thats doing it .. my pack of cigs say 9mg of nicotine .. my e cig cart is 24mg nicotine .. nearly 3 times the level really .. wish i was sorted i cried like a baby when i had to smoke again

I agree with Corpa . . . I smoked 40 years+, averaging more than a PAD and went through the same issues about two weeks in. Since I never went 2 full weeks without analogs before, I can't speak on there being any difference between quitting cold turkey and quitting with e-cig support, but there is plenty of testimony on ECF that these symptoms are to be expected and will go away once your body has adjusted.

I have severe nasal allergies, pollen, molds, dust-mites, and the like and I've found vaping has increased my nasal congestion (although it could be abnormal weather conditions for this time of year and not vaping) . . . but not to the point of going back to smoking!! Sometimes you just have to persevere for improved health . . . no pain, no gain, as they say!

Good luck!!!!!!!

The last week has been...irritating. I've had some, increased heartburn.. no biggy, but I woke one day... and trying to use my PV results in coughing spasms. It got to a point, I went and bought a pack of cigs...and I was able to smoke the cigarette, use it to...de-sensitize my lungs(?) so that I could use the E-cig. Going to have to try to get some small smaples of pure vg, pg and low/zero nicotone and see if there's any change/variation. Hoping it's just something in the air that's triggering an allergic reaction and causing me to be more..sensitive than normal.

I feel so bad for you...both from what you're going through, and for some of the 'help' you've recieved in this thread :( I don't have much to add, but to agree that trying a 100% vg juice is a start. It's also possible that you're reacting to flavoring (which has been mentioned, and unflavored or an extraction flavored juice may be better) or even the cart/carto filling (in which case a tank system or clearomizer would be the way to go).

I do hope you find your perfect vape...hang in there. Also, the search feature in this forum might help you find other threads with more help/people with similar issues and what's worked for them. Pretty sure you've got enough posts in now to explore the rest of the board...you might find more help there :)

Big hug, and looove your smooshy face avatar!

Wow, that blister... I've been using mostly pg based juice for a little while now but used to buy/make mostly VG juices. One day this week I woke up with blisters on several parts of my body. I couldn't figure out how I got them. I'll go back to my VG juice to be safe now!
Thanks for sharing that info!
