Hi

1) Drink lots of water.
2) Unfortunately, this is one of the trail and error areas of vaping.
3) Drink lots of water.
4) Some people react to pg, some to vg, some to different flavorings. I, for example, have no problem with pg, but too much vg makes my chest feel sort of heavy and some flavorings burn the back of my throat. Try a few different levels. When I finally found a juice I liked, I ordered it in various pg/vg ratios and nicotine levels to see what I preferred.
5) Drink lots of water.
6) Nicotine can also irritate your throat. You didn't say how many mg you are using. You might try cutting back a bit with some of your juices, like a higher level when you feel cravings and a lower level throughout the day.

Did I mention drinking water? :)

I cannot see where The Ocelot mentioned drinking water, but that's really important.

Vaping dehydrates a person and the body is healing. Both of these things require an increase in water consumption....but it does get better.

I remember thinking I used to drink plenty of water before I started vaping and the amount I was drinking seemed insane after I was vaping full time. I still drink more water than most people, but I feel great and water is so cheap I could drink twice as much without hurting my budget.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the need to drink lots of water....

For me, too high a VG in the mix gives a sensation similar to what you describe, almost a coating at the back of the throat and the need to keep clearing. I generally find that - for me! - 80/20 PG/VG works. But I have a couple flavors that I really like that only come 50/50, and since I like the flavors, I just put up with it.

It might also be the particular flavor, especially if a very sweet one. So switching off to another flavor, and maybe another PG/VG ratio between glasses of water may help.
