PG vs VG, mixing your own e-juice Opinions/Advice

So, I know the gist (I think) of PG vs VG-being that PG is supposed to carry flavor better and VG is more for vapor. I've been youtubing about mixing your own e-juice because it's supposed to be significantly cheaper and go much longer. I think I'm getting the basics on how you do it, but I was wondering if any of you felt like sharing your personal methods, where you purchase, how often you do it, your PG-VG-Nicotine-Flavor ratio, etc. and maybe some tips on how to get started with this. I just got the money I've been waiting for to purchase my first e-cig and the setup for it, so I'm trying to get everything laid out before I start making purchases.

Also, I'm getting mixed opinions for what I should get. Lots of people say skip the trial and error and get an ego twist because it's a good e-cig while still not being a complicated mess. On the other hand, lots of people talk about the provari, and while they say it's not what you should get as a beginner, I won't exactly have the money to make another purchase for a while, so this first ones going to have to really count. If you could help me make a solid decision that would be really appreciated.

I am tired of the same ol' bs....as ahnold says - fer reals, click my sig link and be done :D

I did, I just didn't finish reading it entirely ^.^'' sorry lol when I start thinking about several things at once I tend to skip back and forth between what I'm doing, and I constantly developed more curiosities and forgot I was reading it :|

Gd Luck with your vaping - a whole new world of beautiful flavours to vape. I love it. Secondly, I have an ego and it has been a most reliable battery - still going strong after about 9 mths., easy to use and never baulks at the clearos I use. I like the CE4's after starting on prefilled cartridges. I am mixing some juices and find the mixtures of PV/VG can be varied to taste but the most important thing to me is having a good flavour concentrate. I go for between 6 and 12 mg and am not too pedantic about my mixtures!! :-(
I still buy some ready made and love Hoosier E-Cig and Smokeless Image juices. Think some blenders suit my taste rather than others. Have tried a few.
Note many rave about ProVari and haven't tried them so can't comment but do find there are many great batteries around. Down the track a variable voltage will be an interesting investment. I bought a KGO from Hoosier and it is a good performer and reasonable priced as is the Vision.
Cheers and enjoy your vaping and your blending!
