For the last few days I've had a "weird" feeling along the front sides of my tongue. It feels like I've been drinking too much orange juice - which would take about 8 ounces for me.
For the heck of it, I took a test strip from my hot tub test kit and dipped it into one of my bottles of juice that I made up. It read a Ph of 6.8, and the alkalinity was 110 ppm. Luckily, the chlorine was too low to measure.
The Ph seems OK to me - maybe a little low, but not too much. I have absolutely no idea about the alkalinity or what 110 ppm means.
Does anyone have any ideas about all this? Is the feeling on my tongue related to these readings? If so, any idea how to adjust the juice back to wherever it should be?
