I think for my Burmani juice, I'm gonna just stick it in my new XL tank from the contest, and use a carto with it. :D

It really gunks up the coils on the Cobra, requiring cleaning every 3 ml, and then every 10-15ml I'd have to take the tank off and clean it. That was just too much on and off time with the tank.

Great juice, but going to use a disposable... gives me a reason to use my carto tank, and a vv mod no less. :p

Well if you don't use your Phiniac carto tanks anymore you know where you can send them. :D

Well... did a full breakdown cleaning of the cobras this weekend and I lost the feather tank. :(

Dang tank would not come off and eventually cracked. The o-rings swelled under a particular juice I was using - Burmani.

So off to order some spares today and what is this I find...

NOOOOOOOO! You are out of tanks.

I'll be ordering as soon as they come in. Got to order a few backups too. Luckily, I still had the original tank, but worried about loosing that one down the road - kinda saving it as a collector's piece.

I tried the other sized o-rings with the glass (11.11mm(ID) x 1.78mm thick - Also known as BS806 ), but it wouldn't seal up well enough and air would go past everytime I took a draw/minor amount of juice leakage.

Maybe time to find a 11mm(ID) x 1.9mm thick o-ring.

Edit: Just a testament to Phiniac's original glass tanks. They made em to last, I've yet to break one, even when dropping it from 5 feet up onto concrete more than once -- and it was one with glass decorations on the outside which hit square on the concrete seam.

Too bad Phiniac is not allowed to re-design the glass using their manufacturing specs for the cobra. I would so buy them.

Notice how every other RBA tank out there breaks, and breaks often and usually when being removed for cleaning. *sigh*

Yup, we are out. I ordered extra 3ml and extra 5ml glass... they combined the numbers and sent all 5ml instead. I am spoke with them yesterday and ordering more today or tomorrow. Just need to work out the numbers I want.

Actually you can't. The makers of the Cobra forbid it. The glass Moorea uses to create the Phiniac tanks (blasting, etc..) starts out as blank Siam glass.

Yup... well kind of. There is siam glass and there is cobra glass. The siam glass is made and used for the Siam cartomizer tanks. The Cobra glass is made and used for the Cobras. They are actually a slightly different size, but only by a hair. Both tanks will fit the Cobra, but that is what that other bag of o-rings are for. The smaller o-rings are for the siam glass for carto tanks.

The glass we get is the Cobra Glass not the Siam Glass... Confusing isn't it!

However as POSEIDON mentioned we are working on making it all less confusing. If all goes well in the end "There shall be only one!" and that one will be Phiniac glass.

You are currently incorrect. However there is a project in the works for a genesis atty that fits inside the cobra glass.

I hope Moo don't kill me for dropping this too soon.

Wow, everyone thinks I want to kill them today. I don't I was actually going to make a similar reply hoping you wouldn't kill me LOL!

However, didn't you have a typo. "for a genesis atty that fits inside the cobra glass." you did mean "for a genesis atty that fits inside the phiniac glass."

Lol, we all getting it wrong, yet right, but not without it being a bit off -- just slight.

Yeah, I guess I thought of it as Siam tanks, three kinds... (Cobra, Siam Carto's, SS Siam Carto Tanks). Now I'm curious who makes the Cobra glass.

Either way, they have the same flaw that other glass tanks seem to have (except Phiniac Tanks)... and that is being too thin on the wall.

To be honest, even if we could reproduce the cobra tank, I don't know if I would want to because of the thin wall.

Well, that's where I was hoping if you were allowed to, you could put in that Phiniac touch.

The Cobra itself is about 20mm wide. With quite a few mods being 22-25mm, you have at least 2 mm of room.

Sure the glass would be thicker than the Cobra itself... but if done with style, it could work. Nicely curved edges and all. :D

Oh poop it, I'm telling...

Within the next 2 months(most likely less) there will be a genesis on the market designed(by me) to fit inside the Phiniac glass.

Moo please don't kill me. I'm bad at secrets(if it was supposed to be one).

Congrats Poseidon. Now if you would figure out how to use a smoktech 1.7 ohm shorty carto in a phiniac tank I'd be in heaven. There is someone working on this but it will fit in a vivi nova tank. I'm testing it now and the flavor is so much better than Boges (even though I love Boges). I want it in a Phiniac. :D
