I agree. That's why I carry allens as well. You have to to a point with gennies. Kinda burns me that I have to carry so much anyway as each is a diff key. But I'm wielding down the gennies I use that perform exceptionally well, to those that just perform good.

Cmon Bobo how many times have you really had to replace a wick and coil out and about?

I carry my Ihybrid, my provari and 2 carto tanks. Sometimes I'll carry an empty DID and a bottle of juice but I maintain the with and coil on the Ihy pretty well and have never had to replace the wick outside of my home.

Tomorrow I'm going over to teach a friend how to build on the cobra (the guy that bought the other one with me) and I will probably carry that instead of the DID going forward.

I've done it a few times. But lately I've also carried my GG stuff as well. And I won't do it out and about. I'll do it like at work.

Well, it helps to be extra nice to the owner of this thread. Also helps that I left NO mess behind on my camping trip. :p

Ok. Here is Murphy's Law at it's best. Got the Cobra going on my provari today with the method mentioned earlier. Well, I went out. Put the provari into my coat pocket. Now, this pocket has a velcro center attachment. That forced the provari to stand upright. UNTIL....... the velcro let go. It then LAYED down fully and leaked into my pocket. So while I'm out and about? NO VAPE for that flavor - only my Ody and Boba's. (that's not a bad forced vape :) )
Ok no problem right? Coat into the wash as we speak. Since this leak, I have spent 30 minutes getting rid of E1, E2, E8, etc. %*&))%$
I'm finally done. A few dry burns, and rolling in the opposite direction to widen the wick some and reduce the gap between the wire and wick to having to twist the wick back into place rather than drop it into the coils is now where it sits. Knock on wood it keeps working.

Just posted this in my other thread, but thought some of you RBA's users would be interested to.

Something new coming in the next week or so from Siam Mods! They are little 510 stands for cartomizers, RBA's, basically anything with a 510 connection. They will be great to hold a tank with a carto and juice in it while you are using another or of course a cobra or other RBA! They will also come with a little slip proof pad so they will not scratch any surface or slide off a counter :p

I can get it to work great for several hours great, and then for no reason it starts doing the e-dance(as I've decided to call it) and wont work again untill the coil and wick are replaced.

Give the wick a gentle twist while in the coil. Or pull the wick and dry pulse the coil. Do a few dry pulses.

Did that, put the wick back in, e-dance begins again. Changed the wick(thinking it might be something in there) works for a bit, then e-dance. Change the coil, works great then, you guessed it e-dance.
I dont think its the coils though. Im not getting any hotspots or visiable shorts. I think it has to do with my wick wrapping ability. It just feels like there is something wrong there.

Ok. Did you wrap on the wick or on a drill bit? Try wrapping on the yellow handled tool and dropping that whole thing in place and connecting. After pulse firing and glowing steady a few times, drop the wick in place.
