Well we have plenty of caps for the clear see through tanks! And we are going to start cutting, firing and annealing those this coming week for sand blasting... but if you want a tinted colored one, you must wait until the caps get here and when we went to the machine shop on Thursday they said "sometime in the next two weeks" so there is a chance they will be here sooner!
Oh ok, well I am looking forward to getting one of those clear tanks. Really looking forward to seeing what designs will be available when they are put up on the website.
Definitely going to wait for those caps to arrive for the tinted ones too. Still want to order that custom tank that we talked about. Hopefully they will arrive sooner then later. Going to have a small army of Phiniac tanks soon!

Well, when you come up with something let us know!
This is how it is going to work. We are going to start with 10 - 15 stock designs that will be regularly available on the website. We will not however be blasting them until they ordered so sand blasted tanks will take a minimum of 1 full day after order to 4 days after order to ship. More then one day is unlikely but better to quote a worst case scenario.
Each week we will be adding a new custom design. If you want to make a custom request that is not yet part of our custom designs, there will be 2 ways to do so. The first is to shoot us an email and if the design sounds doable and like something others would like we will put it on the list for upcoming weekly stock designs added. However if you are impatient or requesting something that is personal, that you want to keep uniquely to yourself or we feel the rest of the community will not be interested there will be a nominal fee and once you have approved the design it will be made the following day and duplicated for others.
Most of the stock designs will accommodate initials that can be added, you may add up to 3 initials and each character will cost an additional .75 cents.
Finally, for the name tanks, you can use up to 8 letters. Each letter will be an additional .75 cents just like the initials. On the name tanks, if you are using 7 or 6 (not sure which yet, need to do more testing) letters or less, you will have the option to add a graphic. They will include things like stars, little peace signs, music notes, butterfly, a wolf, flowers etc and will be charged as an additional letter. Depending on the letters and spacing we will pick the placement of the additional graphic and if the layout allows we will add more then one (ie: two or three stars) etc.
We will also have several fonts to choose from!
So that is it!
As for the first designs to be "unveiled" the following have already been sand blasted and have definitely made the list:
1. Phiniac Lizard (or Lee-Zard as some people like to call him.
2. Floral Peace Sign
3. Saturn, Moon and Stars
4. Tribal Ying Yang
5. A skull
6. Tribal Peace Sign
7. Butterflies w/ Flowers
8. Guitar w/ Music Notes
9. Hearts
Other things we are considering are an eagle, a cool turtle, maybe some kind of ocean fish thing, a wolf howling at the moon, a silhouette safari scene where you will be able to choose between elephants, giraffe etc.
Feel free to start shouting out ideas, now is the time to do so as we still need to ocome up with 6 or 7 more ideas.

So like my wife tattoo is a one off, and if I wanted to do lets say my logo (avatar), it would have a fee cause no one else would really want one, completely ignoring it is impossible to do
While the hawk, the gecko and the coqui could possibly be used as graphics so if they turn out, they may become an option available regularly, which I am cool with because we would all be able to get more
Actually that is really cool, so would you say who the person was who submitted the design? Because that in itself would make it really appealing for alot of artists. It is a great way to get a name out there for some aspiring illustrator or what not. You could also do it as contests for tank designs, like design the tank of the month, have the phiniacs all vote on the winners and you can even sell membership for a year to get each all 12 monthly tanks.
We have not come up with the fee for the one off's yet, but I promise it will be reasonable. But you know what is involved with layout and cutting the vinyl, picking the vinyl etc. If we have to do that for a single tank and it never gets used again, then we have to charge something small. A one off doesn't necessarily have to be designed by you. If someone is not inclined to design themselves, but wants something truly unique that only they will have we will be happy to work with them to come up a with a personalized tank.
For those who want a unique design or to rush one, the lettering fee will be waived if the design includes letters!
And of course if someone is just too impatient to wait for their tank to be added to the stock designs, we have to charge something for dropping everything and getting it done for them. However if someone wants to pay the additional fee to rush a new design and either they design it or we did AND they want to share it with the community we will add it to the stock designs if we feel it is appropriate!
Yes we will give credit when this is done if credit is wanted!
Butterflies might need to wait a few weeks. We already have one butterfly tank in our starting lineup and I want to make the initial offering as varied as possible. But we will do more butterflies. I do however have to give some thought to how and if paisley will work.

I got my tat in july of 2011 and I wanted to give blood after Sept 11 and they wouldn't let me cause I had gotten a tat in the last year. And I have AB+ and they were wanting that type.

Well .. I know I'm going to want a Left handed Acoustic guitar, I'll start looking around for a good example of one. Will a photo work or do you need a line drawing?
Plus, I reckon it will have to be fairly generic looking and not one that can be instantly identified as a Martin or a Gibson.
