Congrat! Just ordered one myself. Which one did you get?

tbrinkley ordered my favorite one... It was the red dragon fly!

One of these days I am going to decide to keep a tank instead of putting it on-line and hoping it doesn't sell :p Maybe from the Valentines Day batch!

Wow, that's truly a work of art! Wouldn't blame you for keeping a couple for yourself. I know I would...but, thanks for sharing the love though!

Not really sharing the love, I am just really bad and choosing things. I soent a month trying to decide if I wanted a purple buzz pro or a black one, when they finally went on sale I had to have the hubby pick because I still hadn't decided and now all I use is my woody Buzz Pro. I might not ever pick a phiniac tank. But the prototype one i am using is growing on me.

I can understand some of that. Took me quite a while on deciding which carto tank I wanted to get after my first one. Finally ended up taking the plunge after I seen the textured tanks on the site. Knew I had to have one of those when I seen it. Sometimes it just happens like that.

Oh, and do you have a pic of the prototype? Would like to see what it looks like.

We went through several prototypes before we got it right. The earliest ones the caps would not fit everytime or sometimes only on side. We also did not anneal the very first ones made (annealing is a process that makes the glass stronger) Without being annealed the tanks stood up to most of our drop test but not the more aggressive ones. Also getting a smooth cut was a challenge we overcame. In short we made a lot of tanks before we got it right. This the prototype tank I use, the cut is not very smooth and it was not annealed. I took the photo after it fell off the counter and hit the floor so hard that my cherry drip tip cracked in two but the tank came out fine!

It also has a small crack on the inside as our cutting methods for our first try were not the best!

Looks nice! Keep it!!

I plan to keep it and continue using it. But we were cutting them differently before we got it right and the process we used the first few tries caused a few of the tanks to crack, this tank has a small crack on the inside. So far it has not grown and I have been using it (and dropping it) since August or September (long before we actually started selling them) so I imagine one of the days the crack will get worse!
