The black plastic one. Not that exact one.. but I am building another one with that identical enclosure. I was thinking If I could just send in the plastic shell with my holes drilled and have every inch of surface including top and bottom veneered.

Morning Phins .... how goes it?

Hey moorea, how is your AM? No sleeves huh, dang. I have to think about a permanent one .... I kind of wanted a plain tank that I could change up with maybe a couple sleeves. :(

Odi - but I sure don't need another tank ... I could justify a couple of sleeves to put on one I have, or a plain one.

Nope, no sleeves. I am sorry. I knew people would be disappointed, but not as much as they would have been when they spent good money on one and they cracked a few days. The permanent ones look so MUCH better. For all the reason Odi mentioned and then some. For one, every one will fit perfectly, there will be no worries of them being a tiny bit too short or to long as there are some very small variances in our tank. Obviously they will not crack but are more rugged beyond that as there is no bare wood exposed so they handle dripping juice better and pound for pound will be a little cheaper as we do not need to come up with additional packaging to keep them safe in the box.

If I was forced to choose from that list it is a no brainer .... the hubbies GLV!

I sent you a PM Odi. Way to long and boring to post here :)

Thanks for sparing us the boring talk.... LOL

Just got my custom jar and tank in today. Have to say that they look incredible in person. The pics just don't do them justice. I know people say that a lot but, it's true. The detail and quality of these two items is what popped out at me when I took them out of the box. The real leather pouch is excellently made. Much better than the faux leather obviously. Really digging it.

Extremely happy with the outcome and couldn't thank you two enough!

I used to live in Seattle right near the space needle and I have to say that Skyline artlooks great on the green tank. If I look closer I can probably find my old building on your tank. LOL Still waiting for my custom tank as it takes a while for thinks to get to Thailand. Enjoy the Awesome looking tanks!

I am absolutely thrilled to hear you are pleased with tank and jar (especially the jar )

I wish we could offer the real leather pouch with every tank, however the real leather ones are not cheap!

After quite a long wait I finally got my custom "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" tank. It is a very large tank (even compared to the clear sandblasted tank I have) and it just happens to work out that it matches the diameter of my SaberTouch almost perfectly. Couldn't be more delighted. I couldn't get a photo that showed the detail very well so I linked to the youtube supplied for the tank.

Evening Phins ... how goes it?

Hey moorea - they are taking co-op orders for xtra Katana tanks ... anyhow, could Chris SB plexi? I think I asked once before, but sure can't remember if you ever said ....

I will ask him to try. We have scrap plexi so it is not a big deal and will only take a minute to find out!

Oh moorea - here is the carpet that inspired the tank ....

View attachment 91544

Now I know I've seen that carpet some where! It is going to bother me until I figure out where. It will probably hit me out of the blue at the strangest time.

Love the furry friend in the photo. I am on my laptop which has insane screen resolution so everything is really small. Until I enlarged the photo I thought he/she was really fuzzy slippers. I miss my long haired boy. I would have gotten another of that breed, but long hair dogs don't really work here. With the lake they are always muddy and we have stickers every where. If we wanted keep him brushed and sticker free we had to brush him a few times a day!
