Eh I don't mind having to drip more often, I'm used to it lol.

Is that co-op over and done with? I'm really sick of having to rotate these posts over and over again, and I ended up half-crushing one of them. It works, but now it's higher than the other and it's pretty much stuck. Of course, this is the dumb Phoenix clone.

Any other suggestions?

SS mesh. Tastes like heaven lol but it's alot of work...not sure if you tried it before. Been talking to so many people about these atomizers I should open a rba school lol. HaloAmigos was running the co-op. No idea if it's still running you can PM her and find out.

Wrapping the wire around the posts and just not using the holes is a option.

Right now I use SS400 mesh, oxidized and wrapped around 100% unbleached/undyed cotton embroidery thread. It wicks awesome. I use 34 AWG kanthal wire, but I do have some .999 Silver wire to spare, as well as 32 AWG kanthal.

I'm gonna go look for that co-op lol. I didn't think about wrapping both ends around the posts but that's an idea. I don't want it to be loose and fall off though.

I just need something with more space to work with :p

If you wrap it a few times and tightly enough it won't be loose. Sounds like your ready to move on up to the big expensive RBAs lol.

My wallet is not. lol.

I can't justify the price of any rebuildable atomizer that costs over $20. Sure, they work well, but I can't justify spending $50, $60, $70, $80, etc on em. Not right now atleast :/

A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to get in on an ERA co-op, I quickly said no when they were going for $55 a piece haha.

Yeah, I feel you on that. That's why I like to push the Phoenix so much...can't go wrong with it's price tag. Seen it drop down to $8.99 for the clones.

Yea at Discount Vapers. I'm thinking of ordering one and hoping the posts move...lol.

They're just a piece of metal to me honestly.

That's pretty much what they are lol. On the 3 I have (1 clone 1 small 1 XL) only the positive post will move...the negative post is stationary.

That's my problem too. I can't differentiate between the positive and negative posts, but only one of them moves with effort. I got the other one to move a little bit with a whole lot of force, but it doesn't look so pretty anymore. Still works though.

Maybe a complete teardown will help?

Yeah you can try it.

What is the difference in taste, heat, etc. between the 34 and the 32 Kanthal?

Thanks! :)

I just typed about four, five line paragraphs and my phone died, going to sum it up.I have a Phx frim VB,I turned the posts and I see copper so I don't use it.
When you buy a gen/rba you are paying for quality mostly. Not all SS is the same, lower grade contain things like lead and copper.304 food grade,316 surgical. These metals are expensive, plus machining.
I have a rainbow v3 and it is pretty good,I get clouds of thick vapor, more than phx.I do like the drip well in the Phoenix though.I know how to place the airhole so that is not a factor.70/30 pg/vg unflavored.Cant wait for XL

I don't think there is a difference just that the wire is a tad bit thicker. I've used both and can't tell.

What is the safest, lowest ohms you can build wicks to be used with an eGo style or eGo replaceable (18650 or 14650) style and not have them blow the board inside?

Thanks!

I wouldn't go below 1.5 ohms.

I actually tought about that, but I am just swinging buy my optician on saturday. She better have some screws for me :)

If you have old electronics laying around or something similar...take them apart. Electronics always have little screws in them somewhere. Never know, one might fit.

My newest build is acting pretty strange. It'll go from 1.3ohms up to 2.0, and I keep getting E2 or E1 errors, even at 3.9v. It vapes great (when it vapes), and I have zero visible shorts/contacts either (checked with a magnifying glass).

Not sure why...my guess is that the mesh isn't oxidized properly. I did it 5 times lol, I guess it can use a few more.
