Phoenix V5 dual coil RDA

So, I wrapped my own and installed this morning. Same thing, wet vape harsh th. Yes I think I have 5.0 as my ring is on top of the hood and not the middle.
I drilled 4 small holes, two for each coil... Holy cow... WOW, way better! I didn't really care for the ring on it in the first place. I just snugged it down and called it good, it seals the original holes up completely.
So all in all I'm very happy with it now. Very nice vape and I like the look of it with the ring snugged down, very clean look.

Found a dual coil RBA called "V5 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Detachable Dripping Atomizer" on fasttech. Looks similar, but it doesn't have an adjustable airflow ring. Anyone have any information on this? It's pretty cheap, so I'm a bit skeptical.

I saw that too, for the price it's worth a shot. Looks like a cross between the v5 and the igo-l.

can't compare it to a trident, but i've vaped a nimbus, and this thing blows it away.

Sounds great Jomay! The set screws are just a tad fiddley (sarcasm). Where did you find the Philips screws? I have some from an eye glass repair kit, but I know there are better out there. Lookin forward to the next round!

What was the description of the screws? Maybe I'll see if a local store has them as well.

Searching for other options from jomays post led to a bunch of different lengths and I don't know the difference..hahaha

I gave them the same description of the one from the website, so M2x4MM and told them the diameter of the head didn't matter much to me. They also told me if I ever needed any different lengths or different materials they can special order as long as I get the MOQ. I'm assuming I would need to get at least 100 with a price range of about 4-10 cents a piece depending on the materials. That's still a steal at 4-10 USD for 100 of them.

M is metric, 2 is diameter and the number after the x is length, all in millimeters (mm)

.5 ohm dual coil, i'm using 28 gauge with a 5 wrap on looped 3mm silica.

have also set up quads twice, once with overwrapping (two coils per wick) with the same wick setup as above, it came out at .2 ohms....also had a .2 ohm quad on four wicks.

my proudest achievement so far has been a six coil on two wicks, double overwrapped (three coils per wick) with a 5 wrap of 32 six times over two wicks....came out to .3 ohms

30g, 6 wraps around a 3/32" drill bit, double Peaches n Cream yarn, 0.8 ohms. I find this vape to still be cool enough to chain vape. Some of my 18350's will not even last an hour!

I have had some slight leaking through the center post on mine. Anyone else notice this? Looking for a fix. I still love these things though!

ok, dual coil .32ohms 30ga kanthal, cotton wicking on my mkb-ts. With 18650 batt. Had to change to a delrin drip tip. Clouds of vapor filling the room. But the button on my mod is getting hot. Is that normal? Or is there some conductivity issues?
