CE3 phoenix BC tank mod - YouTube
this is a tank mod i dd a while back, trying to get a CE3 into a tank. worked OK, but what i really need is a carto tube that CE3 guts will fit into with a drip tip. DCT tube will take guts, but no space for a tip. Dont know if any other cartos are longer? any help appreciated

easy way to remove top.. pull carto down push back up at a slight angle and catch the cap press slowly up and cap pops off

An even easier way to spill some ejuice on yer table, hands, lap, whatever, and ream out the top cap inner O-ring prematurely.

Well, while messing with this trying to get it to work, I discovered the tank leaks. Around the bottom of the colored plastic. So now I would be concerned to use the tank. Broke my titan and getting no flavor on my vivi's....I think I will just cry awhile...

Whatever the issue is it will be handled, we have been in contact with them all week and are getting to the bottom of this, just have a little patience, everyone who had isuses is being taken cared of so no reason to go off the deep end, they screwed up and now they are working on making them the way they should have been, im not there in china so i cant see everything but we are dealing with it and making sure they come shipped to us and work properly.

We're not going off the deep end. Just having some fun. Everyone has there own peculiar way of doing that. Gotta roll with life's punches or you get knocked on your ... for the count.
We know you gents will take care of it and us and everything else just like you always do. I don't think anyone here doubts that. Thanks for your hard work and commitment to vapors everywhere.

I wish I'd had time this weekend to tinker. Thanks to the ideas here it sound like tomorrow I'll be able to make some progress on getting one of these to work. I did have some vaping fun this weekend though. There was a vape meet in Houston with a raffle and I won three times! I don't think I'll be allowed to participate in raffles there again.

I got a Youngjune variety mini lava tube (I had to go and order some 18350's for it), a full 2 battery 650mAh eGo-T kit (which I gave to a smoker later that evening) and a Bogger Bottom fed box mod . All the dry hits I'm taking while learning when and how to squeeze the bottle kept making me think of my ravens that need some feathers plucked.

We have new versions arriving of the whole phoenix BC line, new xl's and new ravens coming, we will put the samll amount of raven in the alpha program for a few days so people can swoop them up and test them, then if those pass we will have the rest ready to roll, ill be testing out the new phoenix bc xl's myself and Everyone who had a issue with the ravens will get their refund, it could take a week or 2 becuase we cant process all refunds in one day and are not allowed to do so but no one needs to worry as gotvapes stands behind what it says. Phoenixs will be arriving any day so we can get this process up and running.

I just want to say, even though I think I was the first one to receive and report a problem with the Raven, and I've been trying to tinker and get them working. I completely agree. Meanwhile i gave up on my ravens, the one i git mostly working still either floods or dry hits, the adjustable feed bit was kinda cool though, i just need to figure out how to fine tune it if i decide to screw around with it anymore.

Right now im happily vaping my bulli with a top feed thing i got, its workin great!

The first version wasn't broken, in my opinion. I hope this "new version" is just reverting to the old one. *sigh*



As for the Raven mod: I cleaned the two I had working last night. One popped a coil, the other floods like mad now and I can't get anything more than a tiny bit of vapor or flavor. Not sure what happened there. I'll try stuffing a "queen" wick down into it today and see what's what. Hopefully my mini novas arrive today, I'm really excited about those.

My 5 tweaked Raven's are still doing great. 3rd day using them exclusively and they are all loaded up with their third refill and seemed to have taken a step up on the second tank. They have helped me pin down my daily consumption since I have not been switching between a dozen different carto's. 8 to 9 ml's.
Think I'll modify the rest of my remaining carto's today. I may try putting a cotton candle wick in one and see how that goes. I did one of the mini vivi's with a cotton candle wick a while back and it still does very well.
As for the XL's I sure hope they haven't screwed them up. Nothing will be perfect and everything has little glitches but I have not one complaint on the XL's I have been using. Sure hope they didn't fix what ain't broke again.

With the restrictor collar in there It would be impossible to be sure your juice was all making it to the atomizer while dripping.

No it all goes down to the coil fellow penguin, just 2 drops at a time worked for me with the hole taped shut till i just gave up and put carto's in the tanks and went back to the old Phenix 3 ml with thined wicks and cotton on top, as good as these poor things drippped into IMHO

I have not touched the second one, so hopefully I will be able to play with that one when the carts drop in alpha.

Are there any cracks? If not it sounds like a bad o-ring. You might be able to take it to your local pool supply and find an o-ring to match.

I've had mine come apart at the bottom rim a few times, too. I've even done it on purpose once to dry the tank out, but I'm not having any leaks. Check the o-ring closely to make sure it's sitting properly in the depression, maybe it got twisted or something and it's not sealing properly.

Started getting terrible burnt hits on my tweaked Ravens. Oh Nooooooo! What the hell!
Then I discovered I somehow got my Gripper up to 3.9V when I usually do them at 3.1 or 3.2 with the Gripper. All is good again. Vapin like champs. Maybe they should recess those buttons so it wouldn't be that easy to crank it up accidentally. That gripper really cooks. I can use a 3.7V ego batt no problem but not that setting on the gripper. Or the Rocket for that matter.

In a pinch you may be able to switch the top and bottom orings. Maybe you'll get lucky. Hopefully it will still seal enough on top to keep a vacuum. They slice real easy sometimes when sliding a carto in or out. Best to have a bit of juice on them to help lube it.
