while you do have a point, this is not CPF.

not all packs are created equal,
2300mAh 18650... i highly doubt its high drain...
And not all ECF users are competent enough to disassemble a battery pack.
And of all places the Newbie forum is not the place for this kind of information.
Just the other day, a user wanted to take off the shrink wrap on a battery, just because it looked cooler on his DIY mod... see my concern.

i know a good bit of battery info, and do have machines to test batteries, but even I wouldn't take the risk on a used laptop pack.
I've owned 10 AW's in the 3 years that i've been vaping... They have paid for themselves. no need to pinch pennies in that department.

I'me just advocating safety here, Vapers shouldn't be missing teeth, due to an oversight.

i only recently began to realize the difference good batteries make- especially with sub-ohm builds, i wouldn't take that chance, I make sure anything under 0.5ohms is powered by an MNKE, SONY, or ORBTRONIC....above- standard AW 2000, also AW 18350's, AW 14500's..
they are BETTER! i know from using all kinds of batteries- there is a HUGE difference in performance and reliability! The battery is our FIRST safety priority IMHO!

how is the AIOS in dripper mode? are you using ss mesh at all? i want one for my chi you but no one stocks it now....any ideas?

Typically, I use mikrocoil/cotton wool in all my drippers

I have a clone but the info might still be good for you...
on dripper mode it is great but you are probably bettery with your dedicated drippers as the chamber is big and the airholes a bit far away

Not great pics but here's a futura and russian 91% with clear(really its more frosted than clear) FT kayfun tank/chimney/top.

Regarding the brass:
The 3 from the left with the more reddish/brown tone are NB
The 4 on the inside with more dominant yellowish tone are OB
Both look great when shine,and the NB goes great with SS CT.

of all my set-ups- i find that the Kayfun 2.1 Mini brings out the best in Castle Long- vaped @ 0.9ohms 28awg microcoil- it is the most delicious vape......highly recommended!

It is odd the way that worked out for me, been thinking about getting a DNA 20 mod but haven't found one I really like yet. I prefer regulated power and I haven't found any better devices that the mini really fits on. If I use anything bigger I might as well just carry my Kayfun Lite.

A B&M spot in Cali that I follow on Instagram called Vapers_room was selling them for $40 free shipping. They do phone orders. I ran into a couple spots online that have them in stock but are more expensive. Just do a google search for kayfun drop kit or kayfun nano kit.

you are a lucky individual to get an Evolved. I've seen a bunch of reviews on it and it looks fantastic! I am one who just can't see using a box mod (sorry guys), and this is a perfect DNA20 mod I could really see myself using. But that price, they want a fortune for it.

I love it. One of the best built DNA20 box mods I've seen that will sit all devices flush. The only issue is the finish on it can easily get scratched. If you decide to get the mini make sure its version 2.1. I posted a picture of mine a few threads back and also check out the Hana Modz thread.
