After some cheap (chinese) vv/vw devices I bought my first mech, the JM22. I got the 18350 tube in Carbon and the 18650 in SS.

Which rings you using with your vari, I have heard some issues with certain rings and KFL+, trying to make sure I get the right one without problems for my KFL+ and vari

I am unsure which beauty ring qorax uses but I have the Sotong ones fr vapor wall. I noticed that on both of my vari's the pos post has pushed in a bit. I don't usually gorilla tighten my atties and mostly use KF's on them. Because of that issue my Lite will have trouble making good contact. Obviously you can't adjust the pin on the lite so I have to turn the ring and find a low spot then tighten if that makes any sense. The rings aren't exact so I imagine it will sit lower on the cone in a diff position. Doing so will allow me to make contact for the atty. This is my findings, it's not the ring as it worked perfectly when both were brand new. I have tried to push fr the other side on the vari and didn't really get anywhere. I don't want to break anything.

Cyclone AFC with 2 coils @ 12 wraps 26g nichrome 80 on a 1/16th bit comes out to .4Ω. Sitting on my Canary beta #0007 - Canary Wood, 10Amp fuse (sub-ohms like a monster, ~.3V drop on a .4Ω coil), SS post/juice nippoh, berrylium copper contact leaf.

How did you remove the ring. From the picture it looks pretty clean.
