I have to admit it, that's a nice looking coil! That's one area I haven't dived into yet. Not sure i could find a good way to thread the wick through it without it damaging either the wick or coil.

The IGOs are the perfect RDA for first timers there cheap and get the job done.

it's real easy if you use cotton. if you use silica, it can be fed folding a piece of thin wire around a strand of silica and threading it like a needle. Join us on the dark side! you will not regret it!

I spent a little time in the "Reo" thread just browsing the thread on micro coils, but maybe I should take a better look!

That thread is my home away from home, don't post to much, but read it all day. I'm fairly new to rebuilding myself, micro and cotton were my first coils...haven't had a reason to build anything else yet. It's just too easy.

It's actually a Zenith Stratos Flyback. I love it, IMO a very underrated brand. It's great value for an in house movement and flyback chrono function. Good thing vaping took over my hurology obsession, that can get even more expensive.

Here's my main, Marathon GSAR picked up from Goodwill for $20 in not working condition. Took her home, opened it up and just poked the balance wheel a few times until she came to life. Been running like a top ever since. ETA 2824 movement so nothing fancy but she is a workhorse.
