Hopefully I'll be adding a dark cherry wood Jazz pipe to the pile on Friday.

For whatever reason, I'm just a huge fan of the acrylic mods. Before I got the purple Genesis, the 5v in my life was the Aceofvapes Golddigger. The Genesis wins out (for me) over the Golddigger because it doesn't require me to stack batts, and I dig that. But...that being said, its a great mod:

I agree. I have one also but mine doesn't have a pretty star on the button. :( Is that a sticker or a special button?

    :D

I usually DO have a Chibi tank on the ProVari and an Acorn tank on the 5v acrylic, but I'm out of stainless steel cartos and ce2s right now. :( The ProVari rocks, but it's heavy and I like the lighter acrylic mods a lot. The feeder mod is just wicked convenient and easy to use.

Bianca, I'm about to order an Acorn tank. Do tell...how do you like it?

Hey people meet Myrtle, my rare Brazilian Rosewood baby (only 2 in existence). She just arrived today but as you can see, she's already made herself comfortable.

That's gorgeous! And you were kind enough to offer her some of your Corona! :p

That's a 2xAAA battery box with the 510 connector mouned at the bottom of the box so that the carto is inside next to the little 10440 battery.
Vapes just like the big boys (as long as you have a spare battery in your pocket)

That's the truth for sure! I have one that's identical to it other than the connector is on top. I love puffing on it with a Fluxomizer, but the batt only lasts about 1-2 hours for me. Great little mod though. I may try to move the connector to the inside as you did.

Hopefully I'll be adding a dark cerry wood Jazz pipe to the pile on Friday.

Quick question, Mod usually refers to what? I have often heard anything that is some sort of custom, be it through a distributor or individual hobbyist. Usually the term is not used for Ego and 510 styled devices. Also, could mod also refer to the detailed pieces put together on a unit for a specific look?

    I am just curious.

Typically, a mod is anything that isn't a commercial, self-contained device. In general, anything with removable batteries. Put another way, anything that has been modified from the original E-cigarette design, being that of a self-contained battery/activation system with removable atomizer/cartomizer.

... exactly... Mod = short for Modification.

I guess self contained might be the clincher there. Allot of these mods are starting to get more commercial as demand has gone up. Can't imagine how many silver bullets are made in a day!!!!

That's a decent rule of thumb though not 100% accurate. The Darwin is self-contained for example (non-replaceable battery) but is definitely a mod.

Bianca, I'm about to order an Acorn tank. Do tell...how do you like it?

The Acorn is the ONLY ce2 tank I've liked actually. Just make sure you stop filling below the white cup or it will gurgle and you'll get e-liquid in your mouth. Not nice. ;) I have only used the short Acorn, can't tell you anything about the bigger one, but the short one wicks well and hits great. I like the higher ohm Acorn on my 5v devices.

I've had a couple requests for information on the purple and green acrylic mods in my photo's. They're no longer being made, they were made by Madhattercigs, who is no longer in business. They are fixed 5v mods that run on parallel 14500's. I bought one from a dear friends here on ECF and the other I got lucky enought to purchase off the ECF classifieds recently.

I have a CE2 tank from my friend Zen~, this thing just rocks. No leakage and damn it holds a lot. Delrin ends and solid tank. Will post if someone wants to see

There's already a pic in this thread somewhere... I'll see if I can find it.

    EDIT: Here we go...
