That reminds me of the minister saying the offertory prayer. He began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face,”Without You we are but dust… “
He would have continued, but at that moment a little girl leaned over to her mother and asked quite loudly, “Mommy, what is .... dust?”
That's like the time our Pastor asked the congregation "aren't you glad to be in the house of the Lord today" and our three year old son piped up and said "I'd rather be home watching cartoons!"
It wasn't funny at the time
