Hard to give ya a percent I used it at. First, it was a minor part of the recipe. Second, my notes are on my computer that I haven't been near in awhile. Third, I don't have the ratio right yet. I don't tend to remember much about a recipe until I have it right and make it a few times.

But from Max's chime-in I would guess it is sitting close to the 5%-8% range if I were to take a wild guess right now.

It is the bottom crust flavor and not the edge crust flavor, but the bottom crust is my favorite part anyway.

Maybe salt? I haven't seen anyone mention the salty taste in pie crust...Just a thought.

lol..im always saying certain juice needs salt...lol...no salt flavoring tho...:D

thanks Bov...I added a LITTLE butter flavor to see if that helped..but it still seems off to me...maybe I'll forget the pie crust and try for cobbler or something...lol

Max posted one, about 3 pages back now, on the thread DIY Is Fun But...

He got it pretty well.

So far I have had difficulty getting cinnamon to balance with it in Apple pie. I've gotten real close, but the cinnamon is either too strong or too slight.

But I've vaped Max's recipe with slight tweaks and enjoyed it.

It's a good flavor, but is one of those that has to be balanced with other flavors and I think it has some kind of property that makes finding that balance difficult. I have resorted to adjusting my Apple flavorings in attempt to bring the cinnamon into line. The crust part of it works well. Tastes like the bottom crust is part of the "bite", but with the cinnamon being off. (or maybe I'm too dang picky)
