Wow.
I have been reading all of the posts and am not sure what to make of it all. It all seems kind of simple to me. PIF is a great place to be and has a lot of great people involved. I am sure you all agree. HyOnLyph has a great outlook that I cannot buy into, that's just me. That's what makes us all different.
There were some issues that each and every person deals with in their own way. It doesn't matter if I agree with how someone else handles a situation. I am not responsible for their feelings nor their actions. I am responsible for how I react to a situation. The Mods (all parts in tact) are responsible for handling unsuitable situations. It is our responsibility to pm a mod if we see something worth being notable. They then should handle it or not, according to ECF mod rules (or whatever you want to call them). We all have ideas and/or opinions that we feel strongly about, but this does not give us some passage to think we all need to be the same.
This is our neighborhood. We are not always going to agree on how something is taken care of. However, it is our responsibility to respect those that have been entrusted to keep our neighborhood in good shape.
If someone is afraid of the PIF thread, that is a fear they need to overcome. You cannot ask people not to stalk the thread. I watch it on occasion to see if some juice is posted that may tickle my fancy. The PIF concept is to help. We all want the same thing. I have added to PIF's just because. I have also posted what I felt was less than, but that was all I had. I also disagree on the whole asking someone that has stash not to take a pif. That's just not right. Maybe they don't the juices/whatever was PIF'd. Who says they shouldn't have it? I didn't think there was a limit on pif-ing. I honestly think we all need to rethink our angst about a lot of this. We are a group of strangers for the most part making friends which is awesome.
None of this is meant to sound harsh or hard or tonal (sometimes black letters on blank space come out in wrong tones). This is just my observation and opinions.
