Fantastic. I must say, maybe it's in my mind, but I seem to be getting more flavor with this tip than I was getting with the standard tip I happened to be using on my Davide. I've never noticed any flavor difference when changing tips, but I seem to have when I put this one on.
I am not sure why it would increase the flavor. At lease no one is getting any strange taste.

How's this?

Perfect :)

Lewis, can you get this?

Yep, got it on the list. I can't wait to see how they look turned :)

The day job has been keeping me busy and I haven't had time to make any tips. Can't wait for the weekend to make some more

Just wanted to drop by and say how much I love my new tips......crushed silver, turquoise w/gold web and malachite web. That brings my collection to five and I'm already looking forward to more. The finish on these tips is so incredibly glossy. My dad used to do lapidary and metal work as hobby and I have many pieces of jewelry he made for me of various agates, jade, turquoise, etc. These tips remind me of that. I just love them!

Thank you :)
I would love to learn lapidary, but there is only so much free time.

In some ways yes. For the most part I enjoy building/fixing houses. I get to do all kinds of different work plus the people and job sites are always changing.
I don't like getting up when it is still dark or the hour + commute one way. Pain is starting to become a issue and I can't use meds and operate power tools. Sports when I was a kid and 20 some years of construction have not been kind to my body. Hopefully in a few more years I can semi retire. :)

So pretty, and Eric (DV) is awesome! Can't wait till there are some more. I bet these sell out fast. My new Phinniac tank I am about to order is gonna need a nice soft pink (not so subtle hint there ) ha ha

Rebuilding houses, It's a satisfying job for sure. We rebuilt a house in Montana that had been built in the 1920's and had been allowed to get all run down. Took us about 2 years but it was lovely when we were all done.

Freeze-it was my friend when I really started aching. At least it didn't smell like Ben-Gay and it worked a lot better too.

I am finally back to making tips :D

I know, the only thing I can think is that the tip I was using before it was doing something to the flavor.
It could have been the other tip. I am just glad it wasn't mine :)

Yes, those older houses are really nice when they are all fixed up. Unfortunately I am a bit beyond Freeze-it or Ben-Gay.
Here is a link to the materials I use Pinnacle Drip Tips - Material Info On that page there are links to where I purchase the blanks. If you would like to pick out a nice soft pink blank I will purchase it and make a few tips from it.

Well, I dropped one of my beta tips from about 6.5' high (just over my head) onto the tile floor in my kitchen. I did this about a dozen times, holding the tip in different positions, with no issues at all. Was even able to have it bounce right up so that I could catch it several times, but the tip still looks brand new.

OK, so it's been about 1.5 weeks. Every day I've been doing something different to the tip. The first day (above) I dropped it repeatedly on tile from over my head. Another day, I ran over it a few times with my car. Another day, I dropped it repeatedly on the hardwood floor. I never wanted to do a test with it attached to a Mod, cause I don't have a spare mod.

Today, while sitting on my couch, my VTR slipped off my lap and onto the hardwood floor. The VTR survived, but not the tip. She was a great tip and a true survivor.

I added Pink Zebra to the list. What style would you like to see it in? Here is a list of what the lathe can make. Pinnacle Drip Tips - Programmed Drip Tips

That is funny you can run them over with your car, but not drop them when attached to a mod :D
Glad to hear that your VTR survived the fall.
