I started to abuse the new tips. The one below failed on drop 4 from 4 feet with a broken indulgence behind it hitting at a slight angle. The straight tip in the same material failed on drop 6 at the same angle. The red straight tip I dropped at the same angle 10 times and the connector held. The purple one I dropped 9 times, the connector held and the press fitting on the indulgence failed. It could be that some types of Acrylic Acetate are not as strong as others. I guess for a tip you can drop over and over again a stainless core with Acrylic Acetate is the way to go.

I am pretty sure the connector on these new tips will hold up fine from normal use. It could be a option for some people that want a slender shape in Acrylic Acetate and don't want to see the stainless tube. For durability this would put it in the same category as tru-stone with a stainless core. The difference being the connector fails when dropped vs the tru-stone shattering when dropped, but it costs $6.00 less. I would still like to continue with beta testing to see what others think about them.

Thanks :)
These tips are sold at Discount Vapers. I am not sure what (sp?) is. I would be happy to make any tip shape that is programmed into the lathe in a material that doesn't require a CA finish.
Here are the programmed shapes. Pinnacle Drip Tips - Programmed Drip Tips
Here is a page that describes the materials and has links to where I purchase them so you can see all the colors available. Pinnacle Drip Tips - Material Info

Oh, the (sp?) was saying that I didn't know if I spelled it correctly. Yes, it is the image of the True Stone Wild Horse Jasper 510 tip on the gallery page. Good lookin' out on the resource. I'll be coming your way in the near future.
