I am looking at getting into Pipes, anyone got a recommendation of a cheaper Pipe mod? Something that is nice looking and easy for beginners preferably using 18350 batteries as that is what I have an abundance of.

Thanks in advance guys and gals

I just got one of the madvapes Diablo auto pipe and I have to say it's pretty cool. Doesn't hit as hard as my EPMs but it is quite a bit cheaper so if you want to give it a go I would recommend it. This is the 18500 version but they also have an 18350 Mini version.

You can buy the button and vapesafe at epipemods.com if you want to go that route. I have started a couple pipe conversions but sadly never finished them. If you want an old pipe to convert I would contact Dave at Walker Briar Works. He has tons of old estate pipes and such that he has refurbished or has plans to. Good luck!!

Those are nice I just would like some thing that looks more like an older style wooden pipe. How hard would it be to DIY one, anyone know?

Edit: by DIY I mean convert an old analog pipe to an epipe

I think you can fit pretty much anything on these if you aren't into cartos. and they're under $100.00

If anything at least you would have the pieces to do a DIY pipe if so inclined.

Since you're in Arlington the shipping would be pretty fast.

Would like to stay around $100

I know you want to stay around $100 which is cool but if you manage to save a while longer and get to the $125 mark the options grow exponentially. There are several makers right now that start at $125 plus shipping and you will get something made of a nice wood by someones hand and machine lathe. It could be more something you could love and cherish so much longer. Other than that DIY would be your best route. Hope you find something you like, always love seeing more pipe vapers out there.

I could definitely go higher $150 even, do the options really open up that much more? I would love to see what some of you guys/gals have purchased for around that mark so I know what I could potentially get.

Thanks for all of the help everyone, this community is amazing

In that case I'd go with an Epipemods. They may not have the "traditional" look (eg. DSE or analog) but they do stand behind their work and the pipes are very versatile as far as choice of atty or tank set up.

A few of my favorites

Yup, lots of choices for $125-$150. I think you can find stuff from all these makers and a few more.

Mythical Fabrications, Epipemods, Jazz Pipes, Mikro Pipes, Smackley Craft, Sun Pipes, Cockney Rebel, Highland Vapor and Im sure Im forgetting some. Not sure I can post links as Im not sure which ones are registered here on ecf. Epipemods is and they also sell the Jazz. Here is a link to all of the Steam pipes right now.

Its crazy big. It lacks a bit of elegance. It looks like something Paul Bunyan would use. The top cap pops off to easily. The mouthpiece isnt exactly super stable. The wood is finished beautifully. The dna20 works awesome. Its easy to adjust and uses the two buttons. The fire button is something I just need to get used to. Overall she is a keeper even if it is a bit awkward looking. I would have got a different style if I had realized just how big it was.

Hmmm... You'd think someone could put together a DNA20 Pipe with a small LiPo pack and USB charging and make it a reasonable size.

Awesome idea! ! I nominate you Simian :) when is the release date. I'll take 2 hehe.

Just teasing, would totally love for someone to do that no doubt.

You and I BOTH know who we need to bug about this. Hell, he's got the US Baux coming out already. All that's really lacking is a decent small LiPo pack, and miniaturization of the charging board.

This is the Artisan/Beautiful King e-pipe, Think I'll go for that one myself - however, if you already have batts and charger, you can get away with buying only the body for $34: CHINA-SELLS.COM - Discount store e-cigarettes from China - free shiping
