Hey guys. Was about ready to pull the trigger on a second Provari, when I decided to check around and see what else is out there. I came across the Pipeline Pro from Dicodes: PIPELINE UK | PIPELINE PRO mod Made In Germany

There's not much information here on it, but it looks and sounds exactly like the Dicodes Dani. Anyone here know if there's a difference between the two? And to anyone that owns one, would you recommend it for a purchase? Thanks!

Dicodes and Pipeline are partners, so the 2 mods are manufactured at the same place. Pipeline wanted a slightly different firmware so they sell it under another name.

-The Dicodes Basics go up to 15W
-The Dicodes Extreme and the Pipeline go up to 20W and have extended functions (allow you to parameter everything as you like)
-The Pipeline has a heat protection feature (on and off, of course), basically cutting power every set amount of time (like 200ms every 2 sec for instance, between 10 presets I think). Might be usefull for cartos and beginners clearomisers, giving them a better lifespan.

As for recommending one, yes of course. It's the best thing you can get in a tube for now, if you don't like boxes ;)

Yep I understand the delay and shipping fees to the US can be a problem. But it's been such a frenzy in Europe that they have a hard time supplying everyone, and I've heard nothing about a US reseller. They say they'll have plenty of stock in early March though, so maybe they'll try to expand.

About early issues, there was one with the first Dicodes, with the ohm reader not beeing accurate, but that's been fixed.

I've had my Pipeline 18500 for a bit more than 2 months now, and haven't had any problem with it. Running a Kraken at 18W most of the time and it's a joy. It has a mec feel because of the way it's designed, very solid, and the 2 years warranty is reassuring.

Found a friendly German vaper who hooked me up with a Dicodes Dani Extreme L in a private sale, and didn't mind shipping it to the US. It's on it's way now! Very excited to give it a try :)

Apparently, the reason Dicodes doesn't ship to the US for the Dani or the Pipeline Pro is because they aren't insured to do so. I have no idea about exporting laws, but I'm guessing we won't be seeing them at a state-side retailer anytime soon.

Yes SuspectK, the only difference with AC in the vape experience is the battery lasts about 20% more. Besides that, you don't have to worry about anything unusual ;)
Well except...
- smallest electro tube for now
- operates as low as .7 coils
- up to 20W
- 200 kHz frequency (yes, there's a k ^^)
- you can set the battery cut-off, for instance 2,5V for high end IMR
- 2 years warranty in case you're not cautious (pun intended ^^)

Well, some major things to worry about actually ^^

Heard a rumor that Busardo would review it, maybe they plan to have some resellers in the States...
