planning to give Ego C Twist and vivi nova as gifts, a few questions...

I've been using the Ego C Twist and Vivi Nova for a few days and is very pleased with them. I plan to give them to a few smoking buddies and relatives as gifts, to help them quit smoking. However, they live abroad and do not speak English, so they can really come to this site and ask questions.

So the gift I give them must be idiot proof. I can show them what everything is and how everything works. The thing is, I'm a newbie myself now. A few questions:

1. How long does an atomizer head on the vivi nova last? I'm about to finish my second tank and the head is still going strong. I understand you can clean them but there is got to be a life to them right? How much tank can the life of one head last before you have to replace them?

2. How long does an Ego C Twist battery last? In another, how many time can you recharge them before they won't hold an charge and you have to throw it away?

3. If you do not turn off the Twist battery (5 clicks), does it run down the battery charge if you leave it aside?

I plan to give them two month worth of juice and equipments to get started, and in that mean time, I don't want them to run into any problems.

1. How long an atomizer head lasts really depends on the juice being vaped and the voltage it's being run at.If you don't clean them could last anywhere between a couple days and a couple weeks. If you rinse them out and dry burn the coils clean, could last as long as a couple months, depending.

2. I'm not sure what the actual amount of cycles they would be good for, but some companies warranty them for a year so should last quite a while before dying.

3. Not turning off the battery won't cause the charge to dissapate any faster than it would normally if it is not used at all.

Also, you might want to take a look at youtube and see if there are any videos that would help them that might be in their language.

Also make sure the charger can be used overseas. I had to have special adapters years ago in europe.

I have been using the same head in my Nova Mini for almost two weeks. I clean it about every other day. It is still giving the flavor and vapor I expect. I have had the same 2 Twists since I started, just about 5 weeks ago, with no issues. I have seen online that you can expect about 250-300 charge cycles from them. So I expect they will last me at least a year at my current rate. A single charge on a 1000mAh Twist lasts me about a day and a half. I consider myself a heavy vaper at home and a moderate vaper at work. I charge my off duty Twist and leave it sitting for at least a half a day, if not more, before I put it into service and I see no issue with the charge from leaving it sitting fully charged.

How do one know when the Vivi Nova heads need replacing or cleaning? Does it give no vapor? Some kind of weird taste? Hard draw?

Actually all three of those could be a sign, it basically just won't perform like it did when clean. With a little experience they'd be able to tell when it's not performing up to par. There is no set answer really, but if I had to give one I'd say if your going to clean them do it every 2-3 tankfulls and if your going to replace them just run them until they obviously don't perform well any lomger, which would just be when they are not satisfied with how it's vaping any longer.
