A Plea for Peace and Harmony -------

If we act in a kind and gentle manner,
if we are kind to all who come,
if we do not antagonise,
if we answer nasty with nice,

if we let them all know that we do not want to fight,
that we want only to be friends,

if we do not bash anyone,
if we do not bash any other product,
maybe,
maybe
we can convince all out there that we do want to live in peace,
and be friends with all
with the common goal of enjoying our PV's whichever ones we choose,

and with a little luck,
and God Willing,
this stuff will end, and we can all live in peace,
and can all be friends again,
I know a lot of us were friends a while back,

to all of the people out there who are -- and have been members
of ECF and VF ---

I make this plea to all of us -------

please let us put all of this behind us, and come back together as friends again, ------ please ------------

no one likes the bad stuff at all, and we all stay away,
but if we want it to get better, we have to try to make peace,
and I am hoping that all of us from all the different forums, and sub forums can all get along, and be friends again.

This used to be a really warm and friendly place,
I looked forward to coming on here every day, meeting up with friends,
having a laugh, and a bit of fun, and talking about stuff ---
now, it is at the stage where we are afraid to come here,
even more afraid to talk here, and we are losing friends daily, --

I want it to be that way again, warm, and friendly, where all are welcome, and all have fun, ------ and we visit each other in the different forums, and talk to our old friends again.........

Hey Di, that was beautifully written and I totally, totally understand your sentiment. Too bad it really wasn't that easy though...treat someone with kindness and they'll reciprocate? I just think there's some people that is never going to work with.

You see...it's the 'bad apples' that really ruin it for the majority of people....and that is the same in real life as it is online. No matter where you go, you will always find a group of 'malcontents' who just can't stand to see harmony and peace. Their only goal in life is to stir up trouble and cause other people the same misery they themselves harbor. Sad...but true....you can find them anywhere.

ECF as a whole went through a rough period for a bit not too long ago but as you can see, once we got rid of the 'bad apples', we were able to work on restoring peace to the forum once again....and we have come back even stronger....with over 15,000 members and over 5,000 active ones.

IMO, the secret is not to succumb to their tactics...to basically tell the trolls to get lost....and if necessary, solicit the help of Admin. We went from a forum fraught with unnecessary wars, troublemakers, pot stirrers, insulters, etc to a great group of people here who are overall friendly and helpful. That is the sort of forum this was meant to be....and I think the GG forum has the same goals in mind.

So...as you have seen...you can't stop the trolls from coming in to start trouble....but there are means to get rid of them. Meanwhile....keeping track of your goals....sticking together 'when the going gets tough'....weathering the storm together....will get you through it all...and you will be stronger than you were before...and closer.

OK, enough said...lol. I'm really glad to see things calmed down here and glad to see Rejoice back too!

Maybe some others will come back...maybe they won't. But just like in real life, if they don't, then you go on with what you have....and make the best of it. Afterall, you can't please all of the people all of the time

son picked up stone and scratched lines on the side

the car. In anger, the man took

times;not realizing he was using a
wrench.

father.....with painful eyes he

'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have
