I see that that bridgeless atomizers come in different ohm levels (strengths? I don't know what the preferred language is). What would be best for an MTL vaper? (I know I said I probably won't even need one of these for months, but I'm researching now, darn it.)
"Ohms" is the value that determines how cool or hot the coil will heat up.

The higher ohm atomizers will produce a "cooler" vape.
The lower ohm atomizers will produce a "warmer" vape. Low resistance coils were the closest thing we had to sub-ohm vaping back in the day.

There are no MTL or DTL 510 drip atomizers. Since these atty's all use 510 drip tips, I guess you could say they are ALL mouth to lung.

I am close to caving in to lust and buying a JAC Vapour Sandstorm. Is $66.93 including shipping as good a price I can hope for? (Note: Between this and my longing to try the Nautilus 2S, I feel like I'll be needing my Shinyitis Support Group membership card soon.)

The sandstorm is supposed to be a great mod.. you can inquire about it here:

JAC Vapour Series-B DNA 75w

Kat owns one..

Are you wanting suggestions on a new atomizer? What are you using now?

I am already detecting signs that you have caught shinyitis  You are just getting going and you are buying vape mods like crazy …. There is a shinyitis support group somewhere on this forum. ;)

Oh, lordy. A 190-page thread. And here I thought I'd done my research.

As for the atomizer, I'm perfectly happy with the Innokin Zenith, after my early growing pains. I just like the look of the Nautilus 2S and am curious to see whether I'll be able to detect any differences vapewise between it and the Zenith.

You're a wise and percipient man, sir. But I am determined to calm down after I get the Sandstorm (sounds just like "I'm going to give up smoking just as soon as I finish this last one, I swear," doesn't it?). I'll have one mod for my regular juice, one for menthol, and one for play. That should do me--along with the bridgeless atomizers I ended up buying after insisting my G6 would do for testing flavors for the nonce. Hmm . . . I'd better get started mixing my own juices; that should take my mind off hardware.

You're doing great! I just imagine that vaping is becoming lots more enjoyable for you now that you have some "real" mods/tanks …. As long as you're not smoking death sticks and you have dialed in your vape device(s) to your liking then that's what truly counts. ;)

Trigger pulled. Sixty-four dollars and change. Not too terrible.
I don't think you will regret getting the JAC. I liked mine so much I got a second one.

My review: JAC Vapor series B DNA75W

I'm looking forward to your initial impressions when you get it. Congrats!

I'm quite excited about it. I'm thinking its size might really suit me.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what the Nautilus 2S tank looks like on it when I finally cave and get one of those. I'm thinking the blue or the rainbow might be stunning with the Sandstorm finish. (Visual aesthetics are so important to the vaping experience, don't you know.)

By the way, I read your review when you first linked to it much earlier in this thread, and that's when the JAC Vapour bug bit me. Who knows? If I'd given in to its seductive venom from the start, maybe I wouldn't have bought three mods in three weeks.

Hey, don't sweat it. You'll never know what YOU like until you actually try and use different gear and compare it to what you already have. This has happened to just about everyone on this forum. ;)

Am I right to think that the Avid Vaper 510 LR Long Barrel Bridgeless 1.5ohm Atomizer (Cisco Spec) would work for squonking?
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think so. There is no way to connect the BF mod's feeding tube to these atomizers and no route or pathway for the squonked e-liquid to get to the heating coil.

(There is no hole in the bottom of the atomizer's heating chamber. If there was, then one couldn't use these on a non-bottom feeding mod...the liquid dripped into the chamber in normal dripping fashion would leak into the 510 connector and make a mess.)

They are designed for dripping only. Cisco Lo Res Atomizers

Avid Vaper says the open post type works with bottom feeders; that's why I thought it might work. Ah well. If I can only try squonking if I build my own coils, then I guess I won't be trying it. One less thing to want to buy.
Well, if Avid Vapor says the open post type works with BF'ers, then I guess they will. Sorry to lead you astray.
