When I reached a certain number of posts it wouldn't let me post in the new members forum anymore. I don't know why.

When you hit 70 posts, it is time to spread your wings and check out the other sections of the forum. You can still post there, you just can't start new threads :)

You can still answer questions, you just can't start a new thread.

I spend a lot of time on the noob forum, there are more lagitimate questions there than anywhere else. Good questions on here for example always get moved to obscure sub forums where they never see the light of day.

Many months ago I would have made up one of the "phantom viewers" on the forums, however I must agree that 99% of the questions could be answered by many who post them if they used Google or the "search" function, and took the time to scroll through the endless pages of posts and threads.
I'm not bashing anyone in particular, but people seem to use the "Create Thread" button as a Google like search function. And likewise the first answer is often from a vet, or otherwise, with a link to another thread that has the answer in there.
I managed to learn everything I know about ohms law, attys, rebuilds, carto's (the list goes on) without even joining this site, and I am grateful for the wealth of knowledge on here !
I myself have asked questions when I'm stumped, but not after some serious trawling !
    Happy vaping :)
