Please help! I'm concerned.

Last night, I felt as if I had a wax or greezy film on the roof of my mouth... Then this morning, I woke up with a swollen bottom lip only! I am on a different vape, but it has the same ingredients... So I doubt that's what is causing it. It is beginning to taste burnt. Could I just need a new coil? It burns sometimes when I try to vape.

Has anyone ever had a swollen lip? What could cause it? I'm otherwise healthy and fell no other ill effects. I haven't eaten anything new either... Thank you!

Oh, the ingredients in my vape are both pg and vp.

Most coils can be used for two weeks or more depending on your usage. Generally for me, if I start to tasting a burnt flavor, then no matter how long the coil has been in, it's time to change it.

What device is it on? What voltage are you vaping at? What's the resistance of the atomizer?

You should really avoid any sort of burning of e-liquid, as it's known to release -aldehydes which are not good for you.

A few individuals have a hypersensitivity or allergy to Pg (propylene glycol). Swollen tissue (lips, tongue, eyelids), red or watery eyes, skin blotches or even blisters in the mouth.

Some people describe high Vg (vegetable glycerin) e-liquids producing a film on their tongue or mouth.

Many online e-liquid manufacturers offer to custom mix your e-liquid to the pg/vg ratio that you desire. Just a couple that I have used are Dripeez, Virgin Vapors, and VapeRite.

I just have the iclear 16 and the battery that came with it. So it's a small battery, low voltage. But it had been burning terribly. I do believe the liquid I'm on has much more VG than the previous. I'm heading out to get the former liquid as well as a new coil today. Thanks for the quick replies

Hi all! The swelling has gone down, but I have white patches that almost feel like canker sores all in my mouth! They are very painful. The guy at the vape store said it could be a burn from the coil (because it was really hot, and even took my breath). I don't know, I went back to my former juice and replaced the coil, so I'm hoping this clears up. Anyone ever had these?

Never had that, but it would definitely worry me. Sounds painful. I would stop vaping and see if it clears up...good luck.
