That's a lot of help...

I'm special! :p haha Not! I just ask tons of questions and Thank Goodness, everyone has been so nice to answer them. OMG, A couple even caught a huge mistake I was planning on making. Dang, I thought recoiling in the Video looked so easy....I had no idea I was about to spark myself and get a new hair do. ROFL

What would I do without you guys. OMG! I would really drive everyone nuts if I used my current facebook, but then, they all think I'm weird anyways. In a good way, of course! hahaha I already chase everyone around with my camera, trying to make them model for me. Can you imagine if they had to watch all my vape posts to? haha To Funny!!!! :)

That isn't a bad idea. I'm not on fb very much anymore, but when I do post, it tends to be vape related - how long I've been smoke-free, calls to action, etc. Well, one of my oldest friends more than once said she wanted to quit smoking, but every time I would send her info on a great kit, she would come up with some excuse not to try it. Okay. Fine. People quit in their own time and I'm not as pushy as I appear on ECF.

Anyway, she has stopped talking to me and I have the distinct impression she feels uncomfortable when she see me post vape stuff. It's one of those situations where I can't call her and tell her I don't care because she'll feel cornered. We've known each other too many years to count, so I'm not worried we won't be friends anymore - it's just freaking weird!

You remember the very first juice you ever vaped?? Now your scaring me. Your to good!!!! If I don't write mine down, I'll forget it. LOL

I think you always remember the first... I got it so I would have something to vape with the first eGo kit I ordered - the ones with the HUGE 650mAh batteries.

ETA: I now have bottles that I have no clue where they came from.

Okay. Going to bed now seriously but my first juice and Ecig was from vapor nine ecig lookalike and loved their honey tobacco flavor. Can't remember the true name right now. All I remember is buying extra batts to charge constantly all day at $20 a pop. My life was spent charging and carrying batteries around. I actually was trying to wait, again as usual, and sucking on an empty ballpoint pen cartridge that had a cig .... in it. Now is that pathetic or what. Lmao. I went online and googled stuff, ordered an Ecig kit and said I could get a pack of cigs until the kit arrived. Took one puff when it finally arrived and thought, wow this could work even though it was a pain in the ars.

Awww Thats not cool on her part. A good friend would have just explained that it made them uncomfortable. I'm so sorry to hear that. AND Your NOT Pushy! Your awesome!! :)

hahaha You might even find bottles in a location in your home, where as you had no recollection of it being there. I know that would happen to me, even though I try to be organized. LOL

Nothing now, but I saw a video on PBusardo and thought I could easily recoil a vivi nova tank, in the event I ran out of replacement heads. Lucky for me, several people caught it, as the video did not specify that it required a meter, etc. The video just showed how easy it was. Being a noobie, I probably would have ended up with a new hair do, cuz I'd have just bought coil and wick, did what it showed in the video and started it up. LOL

I have a good friend also that when I started vaping she said it was probably a fad. I have tried giving her my pass through and juices and all sorts of stuff, but she just hasn't liked it. I guess we are all different. Another neighbor (I live in a small townhouse complex) it took me about a year to get her vaping and she still smokes some. I guess it's easier to some of us. We have to be patient and definitely not judge. I do feel my first friend avoids me cause of the vaping which sort of sucks but I can't help it.

One more silly story. The first kit I got, and the first e-cig I tried was from Green Smoke. I had ordered menthol, but they sent me a regular tobacco flavor instead. If they had sent the menthol, I might still be a customer.

I thought e-cigs were a gimmick and had just ordered the kit to play with, so I didn't even open it for a few days. One night I was down to only a couple of cigarettes and didn't feel like going to the store. I remembered the kit and figured it would probably get me through the night. I took about 3 drags, then lit a cigarette and played "puff one-puff the other" for a few about half a cigarette and have not smoked since. But anyway, the flavor wasn't horrible, but it wasn't menthol. As I was vaping it, it seemed like it tasted a bit like coconut and I began to wonder if there was such a thing as coconut flavored e-liquid...Google...Google...Google... I took one look at Highbrow Vapor's website, started to drool, learned the word "Vaper" and hit youtube. Bye, bye Green Smoke, hello Joyetech. I didn't even find ECF until I was vaping away on my eGo Googling something else.

Now that I think about it, I really need to order something from Highbrow Vapor, since I never got around to doing that.

Hopefully, they will come around, before it's to late for them and their health starts to fail. But its clearly true, not everyone will and everyone is different. On the lighter side, you both have helped SO MANY PEOPLE, including me. Look at all the life's you both have saved. You should be proud, I know I'm proud and so grateful of being able to have met you all. :)

As easy as some of us have found vaping to be a way to quit smoking people still need to want to quit. Even then they're really scared to fail at giving up smoking especially with something that offers so few excuses to fail like vaping. I now really only open up to those who ask and seem genuine in their desire to quit.
We feel we're helping but, really we're just annoying to people who still smoke.. better off minding our business..

I got off fb too. Too much drama and uselessness. Was nice catching up with guys I played college ball with but,I slowly realized why I didn't still have actual friendships with 90% of my" friends". lol they sucked. Sorry to sound cynical but,I don't care that you're" having tuna for lunch". Then the exes...Whatever
I realize the people I need and love I talk to on the phone or text regularly...

It really is simple and a ohm meter helps. I really only use it to check ohms now. Not even concerned with shorts. Seem sharp enough. I don't think you'll have any trouble. Ask Ask Ask if you're not sure. Once you do one you'll say," that was easy"

I actually agree! I don't get how some can sit and tell every moment of their life's on fb. I went to McDonalds, then to the grocery store where someone hit my cart, now I have whiplash. And lets not forget the ones who talk about their illness and the pain they constantly experience. Ugh! I get on fb, but mostly cuz I LOVE photography and its the best way for me to show my pictures to friends and family. Now I love VAPING.....but I don't think they will enjoy my postings of that. LOL

o_O Good to know! I do want to eventually learn how. I'm actually eager and want to learn how to do everything, but I guess I should learn more about ohms, voltz, resistance, etc., before I step into more advanced areas.

In my case, I think a big reason I quit was that I had no intention to. I liked smoking and had never tried to stop. Part of that I'm sure was fear of failure, but a big part is that I didn't like being told to change something in my life just because someone else wanted me to. (I don't have kids, so that wasn't an issue.) I smoked for 40 years and my feeling was that by smoking I had picked my method of death. Telling me I was losing 10 years of my life because I smoked didn't impress me. I'm not sure I want 10 extra incontinent, drooling years.

I didn't quit smoking, I started vaping and forgot to smoke.

Well, I am happy you quit and became a vapor instead. Although, thats kinda cool, it seemed to just happen for you. Unlike myself, who tried many many times, just to keep failing and being discouraged. I had begun to accept that smoking was apart of my life, since it was so difficult for me to quit. I was getting shunned by many for smoking. My kids bugged me and would even walk away from me on several occasions. Then out of the blue, a gentleman just happened to walk in the door at the right time, vaping away with so much excitement, that he got me excited that I might not fail this time. Surprisingly, it worked and I'm so happy it did. :)

That's kind of how it worked with me. I just wanted to get rid of the dumb cigarettes and only have the good ones. With coffee, after a meal, after... then slowly faded out until one night I went to bed without any cigs for the morning. I made it. Still sucked for about two weeks and only now am I really feeling like my body is adjusting.
