As you can tell from my signature below, I do vape meets. I have a bag of juices for our meets and tons of juices for noobs, and I still love my main DIY vanilla cream. Lol. But at first for several months almost a year I was on a massive hunt and didn't like hardly any flavors. It was hard for me.

Oh now I'm jealous and wishing I lived in Florida. That would be so much fun to join your vape meet. I'm the only one who is vaping amongst all my family and friends. I'm flying solo! LOL

First time I've seen that calculator. Wow! Very nice! That will help alot in my learning efforts. Thanky!! Thanky!! This thread is going to be my life saver. :)

I used to use it all the time when I first started. I used filler-type cartos, still do, and it was critical to know the exact wattage in order not to burn the filler. After 3 1/2 years of vaping, I pretty much know what I like for my juices and the Twist with its variable voltage has really been a game changer. I can use different ohmed coils and adjust the voltage to my liking.

Take a deep breath and go for a walk. I'm afraid you may be nearing a nervous breakdown from information overload. But I promise you, it's not all that complicated as it may seem right now. All those setups work and you'll be a pro in no time flat. You're getting all the info you need and you keep asking the right questions! You're good! :)

I did too. I feel for you. I didn't know anyone that vaped and spent forever in this forum and watching Youtubes. Didn't even know how to fill a cartomizer and had to look on YouTube. Lol. And I remember at first the lingo was so confusing. It really was such a miracle to me to quit smoking after 30 years that I just wanted to spread the word, shout to the mountains even though there aren't any in Florida. Lol!

Great info, Katya! I stink at specifics, and math also. I just try to find easy ways. Lol. Honestly the hardest part for me was finding my all day Vape flavor that I truly loved. That can take a lot of trying and dumping of flavors. Try to be patient. Everyone loves different stuff. Some juices get a ton of hype and you get it and hate it.

hee hee...

You should see my box full of other people's "best ever/can't live without" juices.

Ohms law really isn't that bad, at least for vaping. MiamiMom's suggestion should be easy to remember and get you into the ballpark, taste is subjective, juices and delivery system vary, so if you get close you can fine tune from there.

As for building coils , yeah, I would put that off for a while, just did my first one last night, and while it was rewarding, it was also a frustrating learning experience. I have a multi meter and also check the ohms on a device. Good luck, and you found a great place to do research and ask questions.

Thanks! Actually, I'm truly enjoying the conversations and all the vast information I've received. YAY No Headache! Although, I sure had a headache before I begged for help. LOL ... Eventually, I'll look back at this thread and think "Gesh what a noob" and laugh at myself, but for now this thread is a God Send!!!!!!! :)

Vape meets are great! So are B&M stores. They often let you sample juices. Also, if you get verified, you can trade/buy samples from other ECF members. That's fun too.

Yea, Vape meets are a ton of fun and Vapers are a great group of people. Such a huge age range and difference in backgrounds down here and we all get together and just click. I had no clue I would do Vape meets but was shocked there weren't any around down here before and was just dying to go to one. Lol. They all came out of the woodwork, literally, and we get about 50 at our meets. So much fun and love seeing people kick the smoking habit.

OH MY! You sound just like me. I just preached to a non-smoker today at bath and body works. hahaha She wanted to know to try and get her daughter to stop smoking. To Funny!!! I've been lucky so far and haven't found anyone who frowns on vaping, yet! I count my blessings though, that I have you guys. Kinda makes me feel like I'm not totally going solo. You are all so wonderful, friendly, and have been so patient with me......... I Still want to attend your Vape meet though. Dang it! haha

Thank You Steve! You did your first one. Big Congratz! Thank you for sharing your experience with me. I'd have surely sparked myself up a bit. I'm definitely taking all of your advise and staying away from that for a long while. LOL

*Crosses arms with envy* I want to attend a Vape Meet with friendly people like yourself. LOL However, we do have a store which allows me to sample some juices. It's where I bought my kit. Super nice people, but they only sell the small Smoktech kits and only around 25 to 30 flavors. I think the gentleman who sold my set to me, saw how excited I was, so he helped upgrade me a bit, with the ViVi Nova tank. I'm so happy he did, cuz it worked perfectly to get me to stop smoking. 35yrs and I never thought I would ever be free of them, yet here I am. Free and Soloing! hahaha ...Oh this is seriously exciting! I love it! LOL

Something else that really helped me a lot is that I had an online live show support group. Lol. Well, I came across a live Vape show every night that was small like 6 regulars that showed up live and did cam shows and answered my questions. They aren't on anymore unfortunately. I have my comp hooked up to my big screen so at night I would log in and watch their live show and they had side cams and it was a great group of people that helped me a lot. That was before I found ECF. You can friend Vape groups on Facebook and there are links to shows you can watch live and even a lot of free giveaways that are fun. Vapetv live is a popular one. I preferred a smaller group at the time :) you can friend Vape groups on Facebook though to stay informed. We are south Florida Vapers on Facebook also.

I'm glad that everything is working out for you, I don't even have a B&M under 100 miles from me, so this forum is a godsend. Sounds like even though limited, the store near has a great staff, that goes a long way towards customer satisfaction. And out of 25 to 30 flavors I am sure you can find something you like, best of luck to you.

No. I was lucky to find an Irish pub in Fort Lauderdale with a private room and bar and big screens for free that will allow our vaping and vendors selling, which is nice. It's hard to find though. The location is nice cause people from further north and further south can come out. Heck, one guy drives his motorcycle all the way from Melbourne every month.
