I could be wrong,, but that just looks like a normal 801 cart stuck in a black rubber tube

I know my JB has a clear tube cut to size to fit over the atty and the 801 cart fits in the other end
so maybe that's a black one doing the same?

does it look like the whistle part can pull out of the black rubber part?

Duck is right. It is a soft tip from the DSE-801. I have a zillion of them.

Oh I was thinking maybe your issue is that you lost it... soo if you get a 801 soft tip ... you can look for some rubber tubing that the mouth piece can fit in then cut it to size

one end to atty and the other end to mouth piece

You guys are absolutely right! Funny how one can mod things ..and month later forget they ever did it LOL. I came across the pens that I used for the tubing perfect size. Wouldn't happen to know who has the softest soft tip 801's would you?
