I have read about people with allergies to VG, allergies to PG. How Diacetyl is bad for you! My first juice order was from vaporrenu 555 60%PG 40%VG and same PG/VG with their BigRed... I really enjoy both and have not experienced any so called Shortness of breath or chest tightning some people say they have experienced. I have read VG is good for vape production. So lets say I have no allergies and no problems - is one (PG or VG) better for you than the other? Vaporrenu also has a watersoluable flavor extract is that better for you or is the extract to add to your juice.

You may not be able to post links to juice sites. I am looking for maybe organic juice or a juice that has been around for awhile and whomever makes it lets you know 100% what it is I am vaping. ingredients???

Could anyone PM me a safe juice and why you think it is safer than others. I am a Paramedic Firefighter and was a closet smoker. Not proud to be vaping to much in public either as It shows I have an addiction to nicotine. I know - or think vaping is better than the analogs but would hate that I am adding a new problem to get my nicotine.

I have goggled and read lots of info but have literally gotten frustrated with all the BS and endless advertising that I am finding...

Here are a couple of links for you to look at. Both liquids are used in a variety of different ways including some of the foods we eat. There are some alarmists out there who claim these are harmful, but I think they run along the same lines as those people who think seeing a rainbow in a lawn sprinkler means there's something bad in the water.

Propylene Glycol
Vegetable Glycerin

No one knows if one is better for you than the other and as far as knowing every chemical ingredient thats in your juice...well, no ones going to tell you that. Totally wicked labels some ingredients but only a few. Even if you make your own juice, the flavor companies you use wont tell you their ingredients so many vendors do not know either if their buying flavoring from others. But sometimes if you asked about specific chemicals they may tell you as best they can whether its in the juice. Some wont. I personally think that some of the people who are claimng they have allergies to pg or vg are just reacting to "normal" but unpleasant effects of its use. Im not allergic, but I have reactions. Sorry cant tell you what juice is safer, the opinions on that matter as so diverse and contradicting..

PG has been approved for inhalation applications, medical inhalers, smoke machines, spray disinfectant for hospitals. Not our application of course, but similar. I've never seen any approved inhalation applications for VG, just ingestion and topical. With your medical background you probably know more about this stuff than I do, but common sense tells me they may not be harmless, but a whole lot less dangerous than smoking.
