Steve, I got the Riva 510 and I just love it! I've only been vaping for 2 weeks, but the 510 got me totally off the analogs. You'll like it, promise!

My daughter laughs at me because when I text her on the iPhone, I punctuate everything as if I were writing a paper or something. I have to go to a different screen for the punctuation marks, so it really slows me down. She always says she's the only one reading it and she can understand what I'm saying without it being "perfectly punctuated."
I was out just now to get some food and to pick up a syringe (to test out the Ce2 cartamizer). I was vaping on this bad boy (Riva) and hmmmm it got alot better. Though still different then the 901 I have but in a good way. The vapors are warm straight off the bat, im getting use to it and its something different then the straight strong flavor I get with the 901 but still good. Upon exhaling the flavor and scent explode WOW this is amazing and the vapors my god. Over all I am very Happy with this Riva ..... I have to test the other kit as well cause I bought it for my brother and he is away on vacation. Before he left he said he wanted to quit analog so I got him one. ^_^ <----- Smiling as we speak .... type LOL
Ken, I'm sooooooooo glad you got it...and you like it. Yes, these things really put out the vapor, don't they?! I've never tried a 901, but I had a Joye 510 (small battery) and when I got my eGo a nd my Riva, it changed everything. You'll also (when you get over all that great vapor) probably really notice that the battery life is amazing. It'll be nice to have a battery that lasts for hours and hours and hours. That's a nice thing to do for your brother. Can't wait to hear what he thinks of it. Did you get a black one? (Mine's pink...LOL.)
Yea thanks ^_^ loving it. Yea i got 2 black kits from LF. Though I am Looking at their SE model we will see if any of my brothers pick up a liking to ecigs like I have then Ill get in another order an maybe get a SE for myself and give them the black ones. Yea the Vapor mans .... love it im just like Steve LOL oh ing and ah ing over this. But hey its a great product.
Ken, I did also notice the flavor was a wee bit weaker. I think it has something to do with a hotter burn. To fix that I'm just using a higher nic. Just bump it up a notch or two. I could be wrong here, but like I tell my wife "I'm usualy right" hahaha!!!

Thank you. I am still in shock over this. It seemed so easy, almost too easy. Once I got the Riva I was forgeting about my pack of smokes. Now I just need to find my all day liquid. I have a few flavors on order. I'm kinda liking the RY4 but I want something a tad smoother.
Gratz Steve LOL. Yes Im loving the Riva with the Boge Cartomizer. Yea the taste is different because of the heat. It comes out warm but i think i got use to it and its getting better, I tried my 901 again last nite and the flavor was very very good and burned cool ??? if that makes sense LOL. Im using and loving the Riva but the 901 will always have a place with me.
Ken, have you tried the carts and atomizer on the Riva (instead of cartomizer)? I find that the 510 atty vapes cooler than BOGE cartos. You might want to try that if you liked the cooler vape of the 901. If you don't like carts, then just drip into the 510 atty. It'll be a different experience than using the cartos. Just a suggestion. I've never tried a 901, so I may not be the best to give advice here, but I do know that the 510 atty will vape cooler than the carto.
Steve, aren't you proud of yourself??!! That's what happened to me.....I quit almost by accident. After just submerging myself in vaping, I looked up and realized I hadn't even thought about a cigarette in countless hours.....days, even. It's been over six months now for me, and I almost (*almost*) never think about cigarettes. Every now and then, I'll think maybe I want one...then I'll try it and very quickly realize how nasty they are.....and go back to vaping. I test it every now and then (for whatever stupid reason) and am totally floored that I actually spent so many years smoking those nasty things.

And YES I am very peoud of myself. 4 whole days....4 hours would have been hell before the e-cigs came along. If I do try a smoke, I'll let you know how it goes. I still need to find my perfect liquid. Any advice? what's your fav?

Ken, I have never tried the 901. Maybe try what Jan says and see how it goes. Is the vapor better or the same with the 510
Yea Ill give the atomizers a try but not at this moment LOL maybe my next order because all I ordered were Cartos LOL. I am also very lazy dont want to drip or deal with normal carts right now LOL. Steve if your asking if the 901 gives better or the same vapor as the 510 ... I have no clue ... I never had a normal 510 before. I just had a 901 and then went Riva with a Boge carto. Hmmmm 901 gives a cool very tasty vapor. Vapor is very good, but TH isnt deep. I mean for a first timer there is TH but after a couple of days .... yea .... But as i said I still love the 901. LOL
Hey, there's nothin wrong with having a few different units. That way you vape depending on your mood, ya know? Also you have a killer back up tool if one dies on you. The first thing I noticed was the big ... TH I got when I fired up the Riva.
Give it a little more time (if you can) before you try one....the longer you're away from them, the nastier they'll taste. I think the secret is to vape 100% for a little while, THEN try one. Those who smoke several a day along with vaping don't seem to hate them as much. I think your taste buds need to get conditioned to vaping before they taste as bad as they really tasted all along....and we just forgot. Can you remember your first cigarette? I can remember (OMG how long ago that was!!!) really working at becoming a smoker. LOL
Juice: You mentioned the RY4 wasn't quite smooth enough...something like that. If you really like tobacco flavors (which I don't at ALL anymore,) the "smoothest" one I remember is called Virginia Blend from VaporBomb.com. It's tobacco, but pretty mild. BTW, VaporBomb is about my favorite juice vendor, too. Right now my favorites are Hypnotic Mist, Blueberry, and Coffee + cream (from VaporBomb). The blueberry is VB, too, but the Hypnotic Mist is a mix I make myself. I buy the FlavourArt flavor from Liberty-Flights and just add it to my own juice. It's yummy....sort of a sweet-ish, citrus-y blend...hard to describe. FreedomsmokeUSA has it and I recommend it. Or.....PM me and I'll send you some of mine...it's just as good to me. I've been DIYing a bit lately....it's fun and cheaper than buying. I could send you GOBS of samples if you'd like...I'd love to pass some of this on...I've tried lots and lots...some I like, some I love, and some I just don't (either.) If you're really into tobacco flavors, I'm not your girl. But if you like fruit flavors or Banana Not Bread or Blueberry Waffle, etc., let me know.

Give the fruit flavors another week or two to steep and also your taste buds a chance to continue to recover from analog abuse. Then try them again. You might be surprised. And if you still don't like them, you can keep them as emergency back-up juice or trade them in the classifieds section or even pay them forward.

Yeh...Mudflap is right....your taste buds are changing big time right now. What you like now, you may not like in a week, and vice versa. Save all your stuff and try it later....you may be surprised. Also....steeping helps with some of the liquids, so not only will your tastes change, but the juice will actually change, too. It's like aging fine wine. Also....I didn't necessarily mean I'd let you try my homemade stuff....I just meant that in the 6+ months that I've been trying to find MY all-day vape (I'm not sure there IS such a thing for me....I like to swap out about 3-4 flavors all the time,) that I've accumulates quite a stash of 5ml bottles of juice that...even after it steeped and after I tried it again....I don't like. Just thought I'd get rid of some of it -
So are you still cig-free? Isn't it amazing? I think the only reason I ever even try to smoke a cig every now and then is because I just can't believe myself. I just never thought I would/could quit smoking....and I still have it in my head that it *should* be harder than this. I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall, so to speak. But after over 6 months....maybe it's not going to drop.
I hope you're drinking lots and lots of water these days. It's very important as both the PG and the VG are very dehydrating. If you're still getting headaches, that could be the culprit. Keep us posted.
