Mabe a powerful mod such as a silver bullet would feel more like an anolog as far as steady strong hits(certainly doesnt look anything like a cig though...) just a noob sugestion

It's a good suggestion plus it helps "break" the visual referrence to smoking. A good 5 volt or variable volt PV will definitely get you much closer to the "inhaled feel" of an analog as well as provide more consistency. And I assume you are using manual batteries and not auto batteries. Manuals are much better than autos.

Good idea to move up to 5 volt vaping with a pass-through. However, you don't want to be plugging it into your PC's USB port. First, you won't be getting true 5 volts from your computer and second, it can damage your computer. You need to get a 5 volt/2 amp USB to AC wall adapter that you plug right into a wall electrical outlet. And I assume you are using manual batteries and not autos.

If you like the much better throat hit and consistency of 5 volt vaping and decide to upgrade, I would suggest you look at the 5 volt GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor or for less money, one of Ken's 5 volt box mods. An even better option would be a good variable volt PV such as the Darwin from nhaler.com or a ProVari or Infinity.

Actually, I ordered 2 of the passthroughs and 1 of the AC adaptors figuring I'd have one at my computer and the other in the family room (using the AC adaptor) so I can vape w/o interruption during TV time, LOL. What I really liked was the 5' cord idea ... I might need to order another AC adaptor and keep them plugged in at both locations. I love the tank on my ego, but didn't see a passthrough for that at Madvapes. Any suggestions for a hardware upgrade for my Ego-T? I would love to take it out boating w/me this summer and am still trying to figure out all of this LR stuff (I know that stands for low resistance, but mind is not fully "getting it" when it comes to why that would make a difference). I really would like to stick to a model that resembles analogs somewhat ... who sells the Infinity and ProVari? I checked out the nhaler.com site and didn't see any mention of a Darwin. I'm using manual batteries in both the 510 and Ego-T.

Menthol Drops help add throat hit too if you like menthol. I think that's one reason I keep going back to Menthol (not tobacco menthol, just straight menthol) as my all day vape. I can really feel it in my mouth and throat. I make my own with unflavored nicotine, menthol drops, VG and PG. It gives me a strong enough menthol that it makes my drinks feel colder :).

When you say you want to stick with a model that resembles analogs, do you mean resembles in how it looks or resembles in how it mimics the "inhaled feel" of an analog? There is a big difference. The devices that most resemble the looks of an analog do the worst job of mimicing the "inhaled feel" of an analog.
