Please recommend a reliable atomizer/atomiser

I have been using e-cigarettes for almost 2 years now. I have been using DSE801 and RN4072 atomisers from both Liberro (in the UK, also known previously as e-cigs.co.uk) and Heaven Gifts in China. To start with, I had great results but over the past few months have been experiencing serious problems with the atomisers (sorry, atomizers for North American readers).

I drip feed and the problems have been that the liquid is not being absorbed by the wick and finding its way near the heating element and the liquid is leaking straight past it. The result is that the atomiser heats up noticeably but produces little vapour. I have probably wasted the equivalent of $200 on atomisers that have just not performed as they should.

I am very aware of the problems associated with over-filling and flooding atomisers and I am sure that this is not the problem I have been experiencing. I realise that it takes a while for the liquid to soak into the wire wick and reach the heating element but there is something wrong with the atomisers I have been using. The early ones I had worked great so I know that they are capable of working well. I'd rather pay more for a decent atomiser that works well than less on one that is completely useless.

Please can someone recommend a brand of atomiser that work reliably and won't leak excessively?

510s are rugged and consistent as far as my knowledge goes...been using the same Atty since November and works great

second place is dead last

Is that the Joye510? How many atomisers have you bought so far and what was the average life?

I must have bought around 40 DES801 or RN4072 atomisers over the past 18 months from two different suppliers. The 20% of the ones that worked well were ok for up to 8 weeks. The remaining 80% were useless from day 1. I have finally come to the conclusion that the factories producing the ones I have been buying have very poor quality control over the products.

I have just ordered some Joye 302 atomizers from Heaven Gifts. Let's hope that they don't suffer the quality issues I have been experiencing with the RN4072 and DSE801 atomisers.

My experience with direct dripping is also hit and miss. My 510 atties seem to deliver dry burnt tasting hits unless I really keep them flooded like heck, at which point, I am constantly wiping up a mess with a paper towel...

The more I experiment with atties (either direct drip or with a cartridge), the more I realize that an atty is nothing more than a good reason to use a carto instead.
