I have been using my 510 for a few weeks now and love it. I use 6-10mg nic so I don't get the great throat hit many times that those of you on 24mg do. So, here's my question. Is there a more powerful battery out there that looks close to the original battery on the 510? I have watched video reviews of say the Protege, Prodigy, etc but I don't want to use something that is so large and obvious (especially at work). I don't care about longer battery life, I simply want a stronger throat hit. I appreciate any and all feedback! :)

In your bushes, watching you undress
Puresmoker Passthrough.

Will allow you to vape at 5v while at home, tethered to your PC.

Otherwise, you'd have to buy a mod like the Prodigy, Silver Bullet, etc. Any e-cig sized battery will still provide the same voltage, so same performance. The same goes for standard, cheaper passthroughs by the way... only the Puresmoker ups the voltage to 5v.

Totally Wicked sells a Pass Through for the 510..... It runs 5 Volts..... I went to Best Buy and bought a Kensington Pocket Portable Power Supply...... This keeps me mobile at 5 volts...... Could be wrong but I think I spent 15 for Pass Through and 25 for the Kensington....... Works great if you don't mind the visable wire.....
The other option is as above...... I got the GG Transformer, which adapts to 3.7 and 6.0 volts...... Standard 901, adapts to 510 and 801...... Have a Silver Bullet on order which i expect to perform same as GG for 100 dollars less..... GG is hand made......

Is there a simple screw on battery that is more powerful? The smallest in size is what I am looking for. Thanks!

someone asks for a better battery and they get told about pass thrus and wired thngies.. why..

the TW mega battery is the only cig like option but its longer.. this does come down to size.. nothing else.. a lithium battery is a lithium battery..

to last longer it has to be bigger.. which is exactly what "mods" are about.. e cigs with bigger batteries.. they are bigger because they have to be bigger..

its dosnt have to be huge.. but it does have to be bigger.. simple fact..

normal e cig battery.. 130 mah.. prodigy battery 2500-ish mah... with a whole bunch in between..

the biggest will run for twenty times longer than the smallest..

Your mom said not to say...
I was thinking the same thing Trog, it's like people don't read the question and just want to pimp their favorite toy or something! Dude asked for a better battery and he gets tethered to a laptop with a passthrough, or some other big device.

Get a mega battery from TW or one of the other places which don't over charge for their stuff. Short of doing a battery box mod or magnum mod that's your best option for extending your 510 battery life, those originals suck with their poor life between charges.

dudettes are okay.... he he

its just bigger.. its actually an old pen style battery.. you will get slightly better performance cos of its extra size.. its more like a horse than a donkey.. it aint being overworked so much and it will live longer..

the voltage is the same tho.. but if you can live with the extra length its the best option..

No, there isn't. The mega batteries just last longer, 280mah vs. 180mah, but the same voltage. What you're looking for, what the mods offer, is higher voltage.

The mods that run at a higher voltage generally require two batteries, not one. Reason being, most Li-Ion batteries are 3.7V, with the exception of a few that are 3.0V, which is commonly used by mods for higher voltage options.

It seems it is YOU that can't comprehend Trog, not me.

She asked for something that performed better, more throat hit. I told her any e-cig sized batt won't change that, so I suggested something else that would give what she wanted.

Any other comments for me?

Ummmm.... er..... Snarky. WHO didn't read the original question?? :p

She wanted a battery that provided more hit... not one that lasts longer!

The Mega doesn't fit that need.

Agreed and I would not buy it at TW since you can get it cheaper, I don't buy from them.

Where can you buy the Mega 510 battery cheaper than the TW Mega 510 Battery Multi Pack? I would love to find a cheaper place :)

The Mega 510 batteries are only available at Janty and TW. They sell for the same price.
