Would it be preferable to describe taste as "existential"? Or, perhaps, as an "individualized experiential discovery"? I kind of like using those words; it makes me seem, to myself if to no one else (existentially speaking), as if I was cerebral in contradiction to reality as I define it.
People are going to copy other people be it the items they use or the words they say.
Taste is subjective is just a safe quote. When i read a review I want to know about the overall quality of a liquid , if the reviewer says there is any attribute to it they don't like. Im still in the process of selecting a few bottles from a few sites , I do use reviews and forums such as this as a guide otherwise it would just be a shot in the dark. Many companies out there and trying to narrow it down helps especially from people who have already done the hard yards.

Have you tried their menthols? I like them--can't stand their tobaccos.
But, of course, that's just my opinion. YMMV
BTW--you can always PIF them, or trade them--there are plenty of people who might want them.
I've got the Kringle's Curse, which is just about tolerable, but not something I want to vape all the time. But no to menthol, I just don't care for that taste at all, it reminds me of ben-gay, muscle-rub, a/k/a "death by peppermint".
Also got some 12mg Turkish, which is too strong for me AND I don't care for it; it's probably too old to trade, I've had it since Feb. And for some unknown reason I bought the Voodoo, which really doesn't taste like much of anything to me, just kinda sour-ish.

Actually reviews can be a great resource, if there are a lot of them -- to kinda take them statistically; if more than 75% say "it tastes like ___" (some brand of cigarettes) then it's a good bet that it has at least a passing resemblance to the taste of ____. The reviews that are most useless are the ones that don't tell you what it tastes like, but whether the reviewer liked it or not -- who cares, I just want to know what it tastes like!

Gotta give you 5 stars OP once this thread steeped a while the nuances realy came out.
But (yup here it comes ) I am not an expert on theses things an this is just my opinion because as you know taste is subjective!
