I actually have read those. My questions were along the lines of who Brandon considers to be their target consumer.

That would have been a great question for Brandon Ocelot! I have my own ideas about where the DNA40 is going to go and what may happen with this technology, but his answer would have been really interesting :)

I'm thinking two things right now.

1) Cloud chasers and high power (50 watts and up) vapers will not adopt this technology quickly. This is though a very small segment of the vape market.

2) Low power vape gear needs this technology badly.

During my time in the military, I did a tour as an instructor. One year of that was as a classroom instructor, the remainder as a field instructor.

Can you imagine giving the same instructions and lectures over and over and over and over again, month after month, year after year?

But it HAS to be done, because there were new guys rolling in every time that hadn't heard it.

And as much as it SEEMS to be common sense, some people need to be reminded from time to time.

" taste is subjective".

For those saying that a juice should be ready to vape the second it gets to your door... Think about the insane volume of juice a company would have to produce and have on hand to keep a continuous supply of steeped juice to their customer base... It's completely unrealistic to expect that all juice companies should pre-steep their liquid for the amount of time it takes. Especially since most of these vendors are smaller. They don't have the storage capabilities or the capital to accomplish this.

Nicoticket, one of the favorite (definitely mine) juice companies on this forum, moves a lot of juice over time but only a couple of their juices come pre-steeped (CLS, CB, etc, correct me if I'm wrong). It's truly a miracle they are able to do this, but if they couldn't, would I still buy it? He11 to the yes! Why? Because I know what it can become. The best that most companies can do is produce a set amount for a projected volume of sales over a certain period of time and if some of that volume doesn't get moved right away, then hey... You got some pre-steeped liquid and that's fantastic. If not, the juice company has done their job, they mixed, bottled, and shipped you a juice that you wanted to try.

A lot of juice companies have moved to mixing (or just adding nicotine) and bottling the juice per order, why? It ensures that theres no waste or leftover stock. I'm sure that your closet can handle a couple of small bottles and if it truly can't, I'm sure someone in the classified would be happy to purchase it off your hands and steep it themselves.

Finally, to the OP... Taste is subjective. Period. I love this short run juice from Nicoticket, NY Cheesecake. I've read several reviews that state it tastes like they are vaping butter, and that's okay! But I taste a fantastic cheesecake that when combined with some *deep steep* Strawnilla, tastes like a dessert I would get from the amazing Cheesecake Factory out here in Denver. The saying 'taste is subjective' is a catch all for different personalities and taste profiles. Taste is subjective = you may like it, I may not (vice versa) and you may also taste something completely different than I do.

MyFreedomSmokes' juice is delicious the minute you take it out of the mailbox, and just gets better with time. Lately I've been using some of the Virginia that I had on-hand way back before I got sick, and man, that stuff is good! It doesn't really taste *different*, just stronger and richer.

And I noticed last night that the 4 I got from KJ back in August are no longer completely clear, but have a tinge of color, according to their flavor, and the choc chip cookie is deep brown, almost as dark as the banana nut bread-extra flavor I get from HDV. Time to give those KJ flavors another taste!

ah yes, reviewers are a different animal all together.
wine, beer, food, fashion and we have gear and juice reviewers.

they all have one thing in common. B.S..
one has but three choices when it comes to these things.
like it. dislike it or meh. doesn't do anything for me.
anything else they mutter is just B.S. to impress the uninformed.

you have to find what you like yourself. don't rely on reviewers.
they are not there to help you. their job is to sway you.
an honest review would say,"get this gear it works" or,"get this juice i like it".
no more,no less.
of course if they did just that they wouldn't have any sponsors and be quite boring.

Spammer #1 is now up to 33 41 threads. There are three different spammers running amuck. Three whole pages of SPAM.

How in the world did I miss the spam party last nite! :?:

You haven't seen it? It's long.

The O., we're still talking about the video, yes?

For educational purposes, Kat, Dahling, only.

I'm really trying to understand that temperature controlling technology, and Brandon just explains it so well. :)

Make sure you memorize it for when the questions from new vapers start pouring in.

No problem. Kat and I are working on it.

Yes, we sure are! Kat-ya, you did say we'd take the nite shift, right?

You've probably already seen this, but in case you have not there is some good info already on it here and here. Some of the info is different from what was discussed in the video too.

And yes, I have the feeling that trying to explain VW to people (including some veteran vapers) was a walk in the park compared to what this is going to be like, LOL. It's all good fun though :)

Know what I like about you, Ryedan? You are consistently the voice of reason. No joke! I always enjoy your posts!

True, but the ProVari can't separate the temperature of the coil from wattage--the higher the watts (voltage, whatever) the higher the temp of the coil. With DNA 40, those two are finally uncoupled--you can have more or less volume and more or less heat--as you please. That's a game changer for me. It's not about accuracy any more--it's a totally different ball game.

If you set your coil at 400 deg F, you can vape your atty dry--with cotton inside--and will never scorch.

Memorizing these words! Good job, my little namesaked birdie.
