Prayers heading your way. Fortunately since about mid-Feb spring has been here in GA. The past two weeks have been especially gorgeous with temps in the 70s.

I hope the warmer weather will help reign in your pain. Winter is almost over. Hang in there...

Ah! Not only a fellow southerner... but a fellow sufferer and a fellow cat lover!! Yes, the winters are hard.. i've become frustrated because I'm not feeling any better with the warmth. It's been getting worse for some reason.

Definitely keeping you in my prayers Lbug~!

I am not a religious person by a long shot, but do understand about pain. Keep your head up, think good thoughts and things do get better. (and remember, as bad as it seems it really could be alot worse!) Yes it is easier to say then to do.

Lots of friends here to help ya stay positive!! One day at a time is my motto, hell even one hour at a time if its really bad.

Thank you Girly It's something I'm used to.. but it's been so relentless lately. That's the difficult part. There's only so much pain medicine a person can take.. ya know? Any more and I'd be comatose!

Bug DH has lived at some level of 5 or above (has even reached 10 too many times) for the last 20 years and God has seen him & the rest of us through it.

JJ: I need to go visit the Wrecked forum again! I feel for your DH. It's about 20 for me now too. The last 10 have been the toughest, with the past year being especially bad. I always expect to feel better in the spring, so feeling worse each day, has been a real blow.

and thank you for all the loving well wishes in my mailbox. You all are great. Just having the love and prayers... it's so what I needed right now. As someone affected by the weather (as said above).. I always look forward to Spring, because I know I'm going to feel better. I drop my pain medication in half, and maybe I dropped it too soon this year. I kept waiting to feel better, and only have been feeling worse. To top that off, my new arthritic problem has been unmanagable, and nothing I can do will make the pain go away. It's affecting my sleep.. which in turn effects everything else.. its' just a vicious cycle.

I don't know how many of you realize that all the individual responces L Bug has posted here well I know what an effort it is and L Bug I and you and I'm sure others here are spoon sisters and if not a SS then have pain issues (like myself) that are caused by other diseases,disabilities etc. For some reason these past few months since before the holidays the pain levels that I'm used to have increased markedly. i blame part of it on the weather but the rest I just don't know.I don't recall the last night I slept through or woke up with out pain.Many of us endure pain rooted in the nervous system and it goes thru the whole body never know what area,extremity or combination will be affected add to that not knowing if or how well the medications will work or how we will feel literally hour to hour. Alot of us have the added complication of "brain fog" the reason I have numerous,notes,posters,calanders ,lists etc in statigic areas all over my house.I bet some of you do also.Going from being a Registered Nurse and being responsible for managing the care and treatment of so many diverse patients to now being on disability and having to rely on my kids to assist and check in on me pulled me into a deep depression which thank the Lord he freed me from last year.Still I miss so many of my capabilities but I try to find new ones but the pain and fatique hamper this.I still keep fighting and trying every single day though and with Gods help I'll be as ok as i can be.I don't pray for the pain to be gone just down to a bearable level.I think and pray for others who are much worse than I.I have my cats (4 now) and they give me so much comfort,I wake up and they are on my bed all around me when its been a tough night and seem to sence during the day when i'm needing some comfort.I don't intend to insult those who don't believe but for myself I KNOW The Lord hears and answers my prayers;maybe not when or in the way I want them answered but he does answer and he has never let me down.So LBug get some rest you are a sweet spirit one that the world is better for you being in it.For all the rest of you reading this no matter your affliction or a loved ones I think of you all and send my deepest love and most sincere prayers. May we all expeirience a renewed strength and faith in our individual higher power.God bless....gramakittycat

I have been seeing a chiropractor who is more into acupressure than rack and crack who suggests a wet heat pad. Have you tried that? I will be praying overtime for ya sweetness!
