can i use the happy ego charger to charge the 510 battery? is anyone know?

Check with Jack. But I don't think so. As far as I know it will fry 510 batts, but I am not sure which charger Jack is selling with the ego. I do know that the rapid charger will fry regular 510 batts, but apparently you can charge the ego with a 510 charger. I'll know on Saturday when I pick my ego up from the post office. It came but I was not here to pick it up.

**WARNING**

Your eGo should come with a little card in the box with the Rapid Charger. On that card it clearly states NOT to use any other batteries with the charger.

Jaybones is right you can charge the eGo Battery with the 510 charger, it will just take longer to charge.

vaping my Happy Vaper eGo now! Been using this battery for about 10 hours now.

No you would render your 510 battery kaput. The charging rate is excessive on the eGo charger for the 510 batt.

You can charge an eGo batt (with an adapter) on a 510 charger but not the other way around. Doing so would also take a long time.

Speaking of battery chargers, using the proper charger for the battery combination is of paramount importance when using mods, which most people gravitate to eventually.

So my recommendation is use the charger that came with the unit; and

as most people you will probably wind up with different models/battery combination down the road etc... label all your charger and cables, so you know what to use with what. It's the nature of the beast.

Hey!

Just to confirm, that is the case. You should NOT charge a regular or Mega 510 battery using the fast USB chargers that come with the Happy eGos! Your battery will most likely be damaged.

I'm going to look into this tonight. The spec printed on the charger should answer the question.

The problem I have with this is that the eGO kit comes with a USB charger. Given USB output being the limiting factor, I can't see the eGO usb charger being any different than the 510 USB charger.. so...

Either the USB charger is really slow charging the eGO or the eGO charger should be able to charge both. (Clearly error on the side of safty here untill I get the chance to risk my workbench to an exploding 510 batt :) I'm not recomending anything just thinking out loud)

Actually, eGo charger is 420mA. No good for stock 510 or Mega batts. From the mouths of the manufacturer's own engineers...
