Variation of an old mod using an 801 atty. The only thing I don't like about 801's is the length...So, I made this one more pocket friendly and stable by recessing the batt connector. I stopped adding LED's after realizing they don't serve any real purpose other than "ooh aah....pretty lights:laugh:".

It was an easy build except for having to make a round hole through a round opening. I only have a couple of Dremel tools that will reach that far so it took a little doing to create the batt connector pad.

Vapes like crazy

what I never understood was how 2 3.7 14500 batteries equals 5v ? Wouldnt it equal 6v or 7.4 v ? Excuse my bad math and newbness to plus size mods, but was just wondering.

The chip, etc below the atty connector dial it down to 5v. 6v and 7v is simply too strong for flavorful vaping....JMHO
