Police watching you.

Has anyone else been walking down the street vaping, and had a cop mess with you for it. It has happened 2 times to me so far. They haven't actually turned on their lights or got out their cars, but they pull up beside me and watch. First time I was walking my dog, he stopped to do his thing and I started vaping. I looked over and a cop has pulled up right next to me and he just sat there watching me. I then let out a few good clouds and then he left. The 2nd time I was walking down the beach and beach patrol pulled up on me and did the same thing.

yea it happens I got pulled over because they thought I was up to know good. I didn't see a cop a couple cars back and when he pulled me over he said he could see smoke bellowing out of my car. After I explained to him I was just vaping and not doing anything illegal he just checked my registration and insurance and said have a nice day. Needless to say when im clouding it up im more aware of my surroundings. What can you do!!!!

Really.... this is happening??

That seems like an insanely large waste of law enforcement time/ resources.

I say (if not inside somewhere) blow those clouds.... I sympathize with police (not going to get into why....) but the strongest let on that someone is doing something illegal is smell.

Just as a heads up.... be careful... theses are clearly ...... with little to no training that were grandfathered in and have no grasp on reality or the world around them,...

VAPE ON!!!!!!!!!

There are devices that look very VERY similar to what we use, that is used to vaporize a substance that is illegal in most states and federally.

That is why you are being checked out, just long enough so they can be sure exactly which substance you are vaporizing.

We arent even supposed to talk about those other things, so this post will most likely get moderated....

I did actually have this happen while I was walking. Passed my by real slow several times and then just pulled over in a turn lane and watched me walk by. I felt like it was my vaping they were curious about but it was a hot day and maybe they thought I looked like I was going to pass out.

If they had come up to me. . . I probably would have asked for a ride home. It was awfully hot.

This is it exactly...they are just making sure of what you have...many of the items are the same (batteries) with a slightly different topper.
(if you smoked your cigarette in a "non traditional fashion", you would be checked out just the same)

(Post won't get Moderated, you didn't mention (OTHER STUFF)...it's fine)

Please be careful in here and do not mention (OTHER STUFF)

It's happened to me a few times on my own front porch. I think a lot of it has to do with location. On the west coast cops are used to seeing people blow clouds and vape hard. It's not nearly as common all the way over here on the east coast. Once it catches on, and police see more and more vapers, I think the attention we draw will become diminished until we are hardly ever bothered at all.

Never happened to me but I have seen the guy from Quitters Inc. (Google it) a few times. I quit smoking 12 years ago and they still keep an eye on me! I will admit there are times I would like them to take the Wife to the room with the electric floor so I could watch her dance. I'll have to dig out one of the Wife's old cig-a-likes and get caught in the act. [emoji23]

If you have never seen the movie "Quitters Inc." by Stephen King the paragraph above will not make much sense. I recommend you watch it and then come back to reread it.

All of you must be young whipper snappers, I have a little Kalabash tank that is sort of similar in shape and size to a "other stuff thing". I have only had the officers pull up next to my car at a light once, look sternly at me while I was Vapeing on it. I smiled and saluted them with my vape and they moved on when the light changed. I think the fact that I'm a senior citizen may have had something to do with not being checked out closer.
