I can see police interaction if you're blowing ridiculous clouds while driving, thats a distraction. Dont drop and drive. When I'm in the car, its usually an aerotank mega or a KFL+v2. I save the fog machines for when I'm not going to cause a distraction.

I actively avoid police confrontation. I've had zero good experiences with law enforcement. If there's a cop around I don't vape in my car. Period.
In my limited encounters (in the USA), police can do whatever they want and fabricate anything at will.

It happened to me last week, in Brea, CA (so it does happen in SoCal! ).
I bring my Orchid out with me while driving, and have the window down while vaping (absolute must for safety's sake, that thing will create zero visibility in a closed vehicle). I got lit up and pulled over, and spent a good ten minutes disassembling my mod and atomizer, showing the cop my juice and the ingredient list, etc. His attitude was that a cigarette can't produce that much "smoke", so I must have been doing something illegal. I'm not a shady looking man, and I don't drive a shady looking vehicle, but I still got the full on criminal treatment from this guy nonetheless. It really ...... me off. I took care to let out a stream of rapid fire chain vaping clouds once he finally let me be on my way.

or it might be an ejuice and still be illegal

I live in a quiet bedroom town an hour north of Detroit. Local TV station had a report on a clear liquid with no taste or aroma that the 'kids' have been using....and dying from it too. Sold in local gas stations/convenience stores. Used in standard vaping gear. If a policeman should stop and look at me while I was vaping. I would happily walk over to him/her just to talk about what I'm doing. They've got enough to worry about, and maybe I can ease their minds a little bit..
They are going to think its something on the illegal side, looks too cool to be cigarettes. Just act polite and offer to demonstrate/let them try. Nothing else to be done.
PS - obviously, don't be doing anything illegal that a cop would only find out for pulling you over for vaping. Not a necessary concern for most people, but don't give them an excuse.

I did not read beyond this post yet... Is it illegal to smoke in your car in Cali? I mean if all he saw was smoke why would he assume it was anything more than a analog?
Actually in some cities in Southern California it is illegal to smoke in your car if children are in it. As i understand that law isnt too heavily enforced, but they did put it on the books a couple years back.
I know that they were trying to make it a State wide law here in California.. not sure if they passed it or not.

Because the kit I bought came with a CE4. I figured what the hell.. 4 months later, after 40 years of 1-2 packs a day, I'm down to 2-3 analogs and considering upgrading to a rebuildable tank and Box Mod. By the way the E-cig only gets used for Nic Ejuice these days.
Once, my sister, her fiancee, and I smoked up her entire car for fun and a cop pulled up beside us. Didn't pull us but I have been thinking maybe he knew what we were doing and wanted to compare clouds?
Yeah man, I was down in NMB last month and really surprised at the amount of shops that opened up since last year. I'd always hit up VaVa near Conway and than saw one opened up on 17 and about 5 other different shops.

It's probably a misconception. Some cops may not be aware of mods and such, so they may think you are doing things that you shouldn't. I mean, if I was a cop and saw someone puffing huge clouds of smoke out of a metal cylinder, I'd probably want to check it out myself.
