Yes, 5 boxes of blanks for all the flavor testing and five of vanilla because, well... because it is so good and you can refill with almost any flavor for a superior blend. IMO

Marlboro menthol lights= now fruity stuff, mostly rockstar vapor peach, and always volt hardware.

Started with Newports - 100s came out and went to Benson & Hedges menthol - years later switched to Kool 100s ... now my liquids Ibounce between non-menthol regular tobacco flavors - especially "Freedom" from SmokelessImage - and Red Hot Cinnamon

Marboro special blend lights = 18mg RY4, Cowboy, Desert Joe, and 555. Ya thats right I rotate 4 flavors a day. When i get bored i wip out the Grape or Vanilla. When I am really board I pull out the 24mg and get a buzzzzzz, LOL
I started with Vantage. Then I tried so many brands. Viceroy was one I used to like to smell before I lit it up. The tobacco smelled so good. I smoked Benson and Hedges for years, and then Camel Turkish Gold. When the prices went up, I switched to Pall Mall Reds. I would say the RY4 and Desert Joe are the most satisfying for me.
More -- that's the name of the super skinny, super long brand that had a brown wrapper and wouldn't stay lit! Yup!

Always smokes marlboro light 100s. But my favorite got banned, Camel Exotic Blends Izmir Stinger. Ive tried to replicate it a million times from a million vendors but havent quite found "it" I love me some Bobas Bounty and Casablanca though. But Id Kill ( or at least maim) for a izmir stinger flavor
I was never dedicated to one brand, cost always pushed me toward the cheapies, but if I had to buy a full price premium pack it was always Camel Turkish Royals.
I don't have a lot of juice discrimination. As long as it's not sweet enough to make me sick I'll vape it. This week it has been ECBlend's RY4 in my M1A1 Buzz Tank on my ProVari, and some dripping of Spiced Apple from Vapoligy in a 510 LR atty on my KGO. I use my volt equipment when I'm out fishing so I don't lose much as far as replacement costs if it falls in a river/creek/lake.
I can say with confidence that if I tried SI / Volt before committing to 510 threaded gear, I'd be using SI stuff primarily.

I was ready to commit murder and mayhem when those flavored Camels got banned. I liked all of them, but Crema was my favorite. They were too expensive for me as an everyday smoke, but I bought them often as a treat. I still have some of the tins, they're handy for a lot of things. That's an interesting thought, an eliquid with the Ismir stinger flavor! If you ever find it, let me know. lol
Haven't seen an update on your progress. My first set of samples were goofy and unvapable right away. After two days, my 555 and RY4 were good but not perfect....DK Tab totally sucked and smelled horrible. Three nights ago, my tobacco got pretty good but I don't think I'll ever be able to DIY perfect Desert Ship. However, the 555, RY4, and Virginia became very nice vapes.
So good that I mixed up 50ml, 40ml, 40ml of tobacco, 555 and RY4 respectively. I discovered the cause of the difficulty with the tobacco flavor....alcohol base. I swirled it a half dozen times in a double-boiler sort of affair and let it breathe for a couple of hours. Most of the taste and smell are gone and everything's in the dark until next Wednesday. I know I'm going to have to cut down the tobacco with more nic and PG....10% flavoring was way too much, but my mixes are no longer a disaster.
Hope yours are turning out good also.
So far I have really enjoyed most everything I have tried, Some, like VR Caramelized Cappuccino, needed to steep to reach the right flavor, but it was still vapeable fresh.
The only 100% loser so far was VR's Blueberry, no-one has liked it yet.
Big winner so far is ALTcigs's Cinnamon Cheese Danish - AMAZING!!!
SI 555 is my number one vape though - The sweet flavors are awesome, but I can't vape them long without it being overwhelming. The 555 is perfect for continual vaping for me.
I really like my 555 and Double RY4 although they can't kick my commercial DK Desert Ship to the curb. I still have the aromatic/menthol taste problem with my DK Tab but it's just shy of a week in steeping. Got my fingers crossed but I'm just about positively convinced I'm going to have to cut it with unflavored 24mg nic PG between 30-40% for any hope of correcting it. I believe I waaaaay overdid it with 10% flavor by volume.
