Bit of a newbe question as I am still a bit of a newbe.

I know Fluval is mentioned for replacing some wicking in cartos. Is the polyfill (pillow stuffing) used in anything? Just curious as I have a .... load of it. Friend of mine gave me a big bag of it when he sold me some aquarium stuff. My aquarium filters don't use it. So I'm wondering if it can be used in a PV part. It's the fluff kind not the rolls.

You should be able to use it. Whether it wicks well is another matter. Only costs a bit of liquid to give it a shot though. Go for it.

I can say that back when I was using carts, fluval wicked much better than the standard polyfill that comes in carts.

I used it before, so it is possible, though in my opinion, undesirable. It was a contributing cause in my last failure to quit analogues and giving up on atomizers altogether. I stock to tip coil products now, like clearomizers, fluxomizers, visions,etc.
