Pops and crackles:)

I have one tank that pops and I LOVE it. It's like vaping pop rocks! There's no gurgle, just the pops.

Is there a reason for the pops?

When you don't hear the crackle/pop, you really miss it in more ways than one.

pop snap crackle sizzle is good.

gurgling is when there's too much liquid flooding the coil.
no sound is either the coil is dry or no current.

It's one of the things I really enjoy about using a carto tank, that wonderful crackle and pop!
