Positives and negatives.

Okay, I know that this subject has been around before, but I would like people to say the positives and negatives of vaping over analogs. I can only think of positives, mostly.
Some lesser thought of side-effects:
1) + No ash trays to clean
2) + Do not have to turn my car stereo so loud. Don't have to have the window open.
3) + Save fuel. Air conditioner in car doesn't have to work so hard (see #2)
4) + AND - Can smell/taste things I haven't experienced for decades. + is food, fresh air, etc. - is, well, going to the bathroom.

Let's hear some off the wall side effects from you folks.

- Jim

+ Non smoking method that can be completely nicotine free.
+ Vape in the bathroom at work unnoticed on crap weather days.
+some have talked their bosses into allowing vaping indoors/at desk.
+My asthmatic wife is unaffected by vapor, can use indoors.
+DIY is an alchemist/cocktail mixer's dream.

-Equipment is disposable, whether you have the disposable income
at the time to replace parts when in stock or not is variable.

All good points and applicable to me, except the wife having asthma. I got her vaping as well, to get off analogs. As far as replacing parts, I have stuff for repair...attys, etc. Don't want to be caught with my pants down if we have to suffer a apocolyptic ban by the smoking nazis.

A lot of positives that are health related, and I love (most of) the flavors available. ...Can't get that with analogs.

The only negatives I can think of are availability and equipment failures.

When I can run down to the corner market and get me a bottle of Risky Yuice and a new atomiser, I'll be a happy camper!

nitewriter - Those are my sentiments, too (especially the last statement). Can you imagine running into the local store and picking up some juice, attys, batts, etc.? What a wonderful place it would be! :D

Actually, there have been kiosks in some local malls with E-quipment and E-juice. Waaaay overpriced, though.

I recommend stocking up on 36 mg unflavored, and get DIY supplies. Keep in freezer to be prepared for the apocalyptic ban. I also have repair supplies laid in. I don't want to have to rely on smuggling. LOL

Positives:

First time I have actually wanted to quit smoking, and even better.... I DID IT!
For the first time in over 15 years.... I actually smelled my own hair. And it smelled great!
Being able to smoke anywhere and everywhere.... and even if they wont let me Vape in their establishment, I can vape in their bathroom and laugh hehe
My pug is happy because he wont have breathing problems from my vaping.
I can take my dse901 down to Things Remembered and have my initals engraved on all my batteries and attys. This makes them personal, and cool looking!

Negatives:

Batteries die too soon.
hehehehehehehehe

And that is all!

I can sew and vape at the same time without making my projects smell musty, and I'm no longer wasting time in the middle of projects by stopping, putting everything away, and going outside for a cig.
I can walk my dogs and vape, and I'm not worried about one of them jumping up and accidentally getting fur singed off.
I can vape with the hubs after marital relations without throwing on my clothes and going outside (boy, does that ever spoil the mood! Thanks for the fun Honey, I gotta go smoke-- kiss kiss dear)
No ashtrays, no fire hazard, no litter (when I'm hiking I inevitably end up stashing dead butts in my pocket), I can buy a nicer car because I'm not worried about stinking it up, my teeth look better (when I can afford it, I'm going to finally go in and have my teeth whitened and see about braces)

Mostly though, my kids are proud of me for not lighting up-- and that is the best thing about vaping by far.

I am genuinely thinking about keeping DIY supplies in my fridge. I am THAT paranoid lol

I agree with the part about pets, sewing (crocheting for me), and the whole marital relations part! The only thing that creeps me out is if I vape alone in my bedroom I get spooked. like I am afraid that little blue LED will light up and there will be some creepy face right in front of me. I think I would literally pee myself

That would be creepy. Stop that. Get that imagination under control.
