How do you add separation between paragraphs in longer posts? I hit enter twice or three times whch looked fine on my end while writing it, but when the post went through it condensed everything into one big mega-paragraph. Is there a special trick to this? thanks

Works like normal to me. I just hit enter twice when starting a new paragraph. Maybe try a different browser and see if your results change.

What browser are you using? Does it only happen on ECF, or on other forums?
I use Firefox and occaionally the Evil Empire (IE) and have never had that happen, on any forum.

using firefox here. It doesn't happen to me on other forums. I just tied testing it again and it still condenses the paragraphs. I don't want to look like a post rambler... hmm.

Huh, that's weird. What if you write it elsewhere, then paste it onto the forum post template? (That may seem like an ignorant question but I'm not that tech-savvy and it's probably something I'd try.) Does it do the same thing in both "quick reply" and "advanced" mode?

I'd PM one of the moderators and ask this post be moved to the site feedback forum; you'd probably get more knowledgeable answers. It may be a known issue, even.

I emailed a mod regarding it. I found out it doesn't happen if I use quick reply.

I had this issue when I first started posting here and it turned out to be NoScript on Firefox. Allowing ECF to run scripts fixed the issue for me. Not sure what else it could be, except the site being buggy.

AHH, yes I had some scripts blocked with noscript. I "allowed all" and now there is no problem. Thanks!
